whats the difference between illustrator and photoshop. (yes i am that stupid with drawing programs i perfer corel panter)

illustrator is more of a vector program you can resize image in illustrator without it pixalate,but in photoshop you can't

Raster (pixelated lines) are photoshop

and vector (high flash quality lines) are illustrator

I just upgraded to photoshop 7. I stay behind the trends so I don't get most of the stuff that they add because I don't think its always necessary. old copy of photoshop + pen tablet = magic
