  • Ghost Inhale

  • it looks like a dick

  • LOL I think I heard my little sister at the end saying "EMMA LET ME SEE!"

  • it looks like a giant alien fetus

  • Would you like to be in a cage and be observed by people all your life ? Leave the Beluga's alone let them live free in the ocean, learn how to scuba dive and go observe them in their natural environment .

  • @simondr70 They're not in a cage, whales love people, not everyone can scuba dive, and belugas live in freezing arctic water.

  • It` s funny , monkeys looking at real evolved sentient beings .

  • Coooooooooools

  • at 0:05 it appears to have abs

  • they are so sad in capture.((

  • i didnt know lady gaga can swim

  • IT HAS A SIX PACK

  • what a beautiful creature. let im go he doesn't look healthy... I guess you can't just let them go, but what a beautiful mammal. don't catch em in the first place.

  • Wheres the bubbles

  • RIP Gasper, the friendly whale :) He was so loved by many and he will never be forgotten!!! Gasper was rescued from a Mexico City amusement park and lived under a giant wooden roller coaster! An excellent example of the Georgia Aquarium's 4R (Research, Relocation, Rescue and Rehabilitation) program. A 767 UPS cargo jet flew Gasper and his pal Nico to Atlanta, Ga in 2005. Nico passed away shortly after his arrival. Gasper remained there until his death in 2007 :(

  • Haha after he caught it he was all "Omnomnomnom :D"

  • THUMBS UP TO STOP WHALE HUNTING.!!!!!

  • a whale with down syndrome

  • His body looks like a slug and his face looks like a butt. I love animals and all, just saying... Beluga Whales are pretty messed up.

  • @RichardForkins Beluga whales have a large forehead, a sign of their high intelligence. Beluga whales are, in fact, the smartest animals on earth with an average I.Q. (intelligence quotient) of 155, a level that would be considered near genius in humans. I'm sure you are having problems reading this because I would put money on YOU being illiterate! You probably had your momma type your lame post for you!

  • @noway621

I never said they were unintelligent, simply that they are quite bizarre looking. I could have phrased it more politely but I was just being humorous. Try to lighten up ;)

  • @noway621 Where did you learn that? Their melon is the reason their head is so big, not because of any brain. Get some real biology edumacation.

  • @RichardForkins Just like you!

  • never seen this kinda whale b4

  • very small bubble ring...!

  • baluga's brain looks huge for his body. Are they really smart?

  • Yes, they have the average IQ of a person from Louisiana.

  • @eatmorchikin which isnt really saying much lol jk jk jk... couldnt resist

  • @eatmorchikin So that means it still won't be able to drive for shit, lol!

  • @eatmorchikin LOL!

  • @eatmorchikin AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @eatmorchikin LOL

  • @eatmorchikin lol funny but racist

  • @eatmorchikin Please don't insult the Belugas' intelligence.

  • @eatmorchikin I'm from louisiana jack ass and not everyone is a country bumpkin. and judging from your username, your probably a lazy fat bastard.

  • @lauraleesmithagain It's a melon, not a brain. It's used as a focal system for sound.

  • @lauraleesmithagain well, what your seeing on top of is head isnt his brain, its his melon and its squishy and isnt a brain, but they are smart

  • @lauraleesmithagain

Actually the entire front of it's head is made of fat, like a pillow, in the wild it uses that pillow to break the ice so it can get air. Kinda like an built in fatbag for air crisis situations.

  • @lauraleesmithagain

The "Beluga" (C'mon, it's spelled out for you in the title) is very intelligent, as with most whales and dolphins. The forehead region, known as the melon, is a fatty waxy substance which is used to help focus their echolocation and vocalization similar to a flashlight beam.

  • @lauraleesmithagain the reason his heads so big is because he also has a melon in there all marine mammals except pinnipeds have a melon

  • that whale has a six pack. what a beast.

  • it looks like a wet sock. are they feeding him??

  • thats discussing keeping that animal in captivity (N) just for a bit more money towards the aquarium :@

  • that thing has a serious set of 6 pack abs

  • It looks deformed

  • let them be free!

  • it's so ugly

  • SOO cute :) I love beluga whales!

  • these whales are too frikkin cute! baby ones are like adorable. i love how their eyes are on the sides of their heads. theyre so cute <3

  • u torture them and show 'em who's boss, and they can learn any trick! they are very obedient fish! we need to capture more

of these fishes and train to what we want!!!

  • Mmmm bubbles [:

  • he didnt even know he made it he saw it and was like wtf and then tried to eat it i guess

  • Watch the movie called; The cove!!! Help the dolphins!!!!!!!!

  • @eduardo00178 Yes that documentary really opened my eyes . its a shame how they slaughtered all those dolphins . 23,000. that is no small number . stay safe yall.

  • This whale does look skinny which if you think of it, is kinda uhmm backwards, anyone know if its condition improved after awhile at the new aquarium?

  • he's dead, so his prospects of recovery are not good

  • @eatmorchikin i think he'll be okay.

  • that's just how beluga's are shaped, they're squishy!

  • Why does it's body look deformed? Is that just some trait of beluga whales I didn't know of??

  • I think the reason for its body looking the way it did is that it had been at a Mexican theme park under a roller coaster and was not nourished very well.

  • @eatmorchikin so it was gasper from the georgia aquariumm?

  • @MemoriesofaDestiny Yeah, the video owner is right. He had a very terrible life before moving to this aquarium (the previous was shut down for obvious reasons). He was also very old for a whale, male older beluga whales tend to get rolls.

  • @MemoriesofaDestiny all dolphins are freaking deform l-o-l

  • stupid every livin thing from ppl to trees animals plants has feelings

  • I think I'll have whale instead

  • this debate takes youtube silliness to a new level. it's just a whale video. oooh, bubbles!

  • Yeah, arthropods in general I'm not so sure about. *shrug*

  • I'm under the impression that regrowing large portions of body parts takes a lot of energy. If the gecko had no feeling at all in its tail, it would could end up stupidly damaging itself; for instance lying down in a position with a kinked tail, or leaving it in a fire or allowing insects to bite it, I don't know. I guess those aren't very plausible examples, but even so, it would want to protect its tail so that it would be available as a last resort escape.

  • their tails regrow

  • all lizard tails regrow corrrect fool

  • because then it would be stupid.. it wouldnt know what pain is and what isnt..

  • OK SEA COW

  • I went in march of 09 and they still had all 3 whales o.0

  • was this in ATL?

  • if you mean atlanta yes it was....

    gasper died....

  • il est tro chou et mimi le beluga

    i love you

  • tru it is a mammals and yes they do hav feelings seriously.. every animal has feelings

  • whales arent fish u dumb ass, theyre mammals like humans u stupid twat and they do have feeling dumb ass. Fish have pain receptors and a very good memory why do you think when someone feeds their fish they remember to come back up. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!

  • So someone called them fish. There are some people who are not very bright. After reading your reply I don't think you are either.

  • Are these ghost fishes having a cocktail party ? I didn't know aquariums could be so noisy !!!!

  • man i hope this glass is sound proof so these animals dont have to listen to yapping tourists

  • I think he/she is smilin @ 0:16-17

  • That whale is UGLY but cool

  • that's a skinny beluga :P

  • Is this at the Georgia Aquarium?

  • Hi, yes it is.

  • oh lol i saw it it was tiny but it was there

  • where is the bubble?

  • yo me and that nigga need to light up some time haha

  • where is the bubble?

  • sad... set them free

  • oh my lanta... this is going to sound pretty gay, im 15 and a guy in 10th grade but like, i'm obsessed with these whales haha. there so cute and lovable. i want hug one

  • Your right, that did sound gay, but it is okay as I am a sophomore as well and they are amazing animals.

  • lol your right , that did sound just a bit gay, but it seems thats what people say when someone shows enough care and interest in something these days

  • Thanks for having Gasper on YouTube. I really miss him working with him!

  • Not a problem, I enjoyed seeing him!

  • that whale looks fucked up

  • Beautiful animals, shouldn't be kept in a small tank :(

  • lets break it ; )

  • lets get chuck norris to roundhouse kick the tank

  • I agree it is too bad he won. Dumbass.

  • oh too bad he won

    dumbass

  • i also enjoi whales

  • Beautiful. Too bad Palin is fighting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's efforts to protect the Cook Inlet belugas.

  • wow she never had my vote and never will now that i know that.

  • gingerdog2: Thanks for posting your all-important info about Palin. Thank God Obama won!

  • Don't be so sure.

  • how did a video about a whale turn into a political forum??

  • good call - lol

  • lol i was thinkin the same thing

  • süüüüüüüüüüüß

  • awwe

  • aw, its so cute. xD

  • that whale looks kind of scary... I didn't know that they were shaped like that.... interesting:)

  • Gasper lives in the Georgia Aquarium, I live in Atlanta I think they put down Gasper and a different one because of skin disease

  • the beluga whale is so adorable!

  • beluga whale read the title

  • your a fuckin idiot

  • Thanks, calling that thing a beluga "whale" made alot of sense to me, thats why i asked asswipe.

  • Well you're evidently an illiterate jackass.

  • Im illiterate because I prefer to use short form words on the internet!? wow im sorry for mis-spelling you're and fucking, all better now princess?

  • hell ya lol!

  • lolz

  • белуга урод напоминает урода из чужих 4

  • Can we get a silent version ? The people are really annoying.

  • showoff

  • These belugas look like the one from the Georgia aquarium. It's sad that a few of them have died. I think the star of this clip was the first one to go.

  • he looks weird.

  • yeah, it looks like a terd.

  • Those beluga whales are amazing!

  • lovely animal... if look closely you can see it's abs! didn't know they had abs... :P

  • You see to a degree you think at least they are fed, and nurtured, but they have to dance for their food-would we like to dance for our food? I was at a dolphin show and swam with them (amazing) but then I thought hmmmm how cruel is this? They should be out catching their food, not doing tricks for it. Lovely as they were, they belong in the wild as nature intended.

  • Do tricks for their food, or catch it themselves? either way its pretty much the same result? no?

  • both really good points; as cool as it is to have captized these animals I also find it a bit cruel to make them perform for there food. a;though they still get the food either way the animals should not be captized imo its kind of like being stuck in one room of your house for your whole life while people watch you

  • If you think about, these animals actually have do a lot more tricks to get their food in the wild than they do in captivity. It is just as physicaly demanding on them if not more. They have to swim hundreds of miles just to find their next meal. And often someone else is already there scarfing it down and then they have to fight over what ever is left.

  • hah, very valid point there mewthree2. I must say from what i heard they mostly don't "suffer" that mutch seing they have a huge system vaiting on them, filling all needs etc..

  • They sure do. The wild is a very brutal place for all animals. If you have ever seen a documentry on any animal, you'll notice the constant appearance of scares and bodily disfigurements that appear on their bodies. These often come from fighting with other animals and or careless or ignorant humans.

  • Education on all animals is significantly strained and not many know how to coexist with the animals of this world. Which is the soul purpose of places like this. Despite how cruel one may think it is, it is the close encounters with these animals that builds the the bonds between us and them. And that is extremely vital to the animals future in a ever changing world.

  • hehe, you really spent time on this one. looks like someone has put some thought into this subject :P well, what you are saying is completely correct, and the point about people getting more knowledge hence helping to protect them when in the wild may be a less thought of, but indeed a important task. going after the problem at the right end of the chain may (!) be the solution XD

  • they are not more or less free than you. You still have to do a job to get your food, you will still live your whole life being observed by other people, judgin' you. And believe it or not, is just thank to them that you can get your food. This life sucks man.

  • I agree

  • odd but cool

  • This particular beluga whale was rescued from a Mexican theme park where he "lived" under a roller coaster. The whole mission of the aquarium was to rehabilitate him so he could be released back into the wild. So beautiful!

  • animals are the real angels

not pink chubby kids with wings

and fuck the people that lock ANYTHING up apart from crinimals

  • it really looks like a dinosaur!

  • You have no clue, to the whale he is free.

Despite what you hear, I guarentee you he is treated very well.

A regular beluga whale would never eat as catch as many fish as they are giving at places like these.

there is no competition here, in the sea there are other animals/whales who are fighting for food. He also is in no danger in being killed by any other animal.

  • would you like living in a jail so you would not have to work, just stay the fucking 24 hours of the day inside?

  • Why do I feel really sorry for this whale...I so wish for it to have had the experience of living in freedom. This really makes me feel sad.

  • Fantastic!

In here we call it Duyung (means Mermaid)

  • ur a cunt they look so cute

    wonda wat u looke like

  • i love belugas , baby belugas in the deep blue sea , swim so high , swim so deep

  • it even has a six pak lol

  • * in a dodgy russian voice *

"IM BUFFF, I AM WHALE, I MUST BREAK YOU"

  • people say its fat i think its a little under weight and also it did not blow bubbles

  • =(((( I miss this whale.

  • whats the game here?! do they feed them whales at sea world on steroids?!?!? thats one buff whale!!

get it on the cover of MENS FITNESS

  • Well, the whales do stunts for a living. they are fed on a regular schedule, and train every day. Regular meals speed up your metabolism, training makes you buff. This is like the terminator whale...

  • That's blubber, you can see the globe of blubber on it's head wobbling.

  • wow that thing is like a mini sea monster!

  • that thing is buff

  • that's a big whale..is it supposed to look like that 0.o how are whales suppose to have 8 pac >.>
