interesting times we are living in now.we have a hope and change president who is not really doing much but oppressing the lybian people by bombing them.everybody complained about the old boss.well guess what he is the same or better yet the worse.meet the new boss same as the old boss.now what does this have to with "chicanos" well stop blaming the man for all troubles! go to school get your degree,learn a trade etc. when the cops tell you to disperse after calling an unlawful assembly do it!
@agustindram4 agreed that o-bomb-a is the same old song. paul street covers that in his book. getting a degree & learning a trade are good ideas, but only if they serve to challenge social injustices. and often, challenging social injustices means disobeying the law enforcement agents. obeying the law enforcement agents is not always a good idea because often the laws which they enforce are unfair & unjust.
I'm from Canada and i am white, when I drove truck in the states I saw Mexicans doing all the shitty work this is all to live in an area of the United States which all the citys have Mexican names. Kinda leaves you wonder what white guy named Los Angeles?

After the immigration act of 1965 Los Angeles turned into a Crap hole just like the way Toronto and other cities in Canada today are going with Shiria Law. P.S. Los Angeles was named by the White-Hispanic conquestidors. But pronounced differently from the way You Canadian Quenucks would pronounce it.

And they say anti immigration law is not about racism - It is and has always been. It does not make me proud to be white and an american. and white people are so blind! They think they know it all and they do not even know what is going on in their own country!
