great job! people can take alot of tips from you when showing swatches of dupes. you applied it to your hand the same way you would apply to your eye, you put down a base!!!! thats the way to show a swatch. thanks for this great video with the great dupes! you rock!

MAC does have some real pretty colors but I can't afford MAC so the more dupes you have the more I can have the color at the affordable ones. Did you ever get the name of the Wet n Wild color dupe for MAC's HUMID? Would love to know.

I'm so sad, I think the Shimmermoss dupe from Wet n Wild has been discontinued. I went to MAC and fell in love with the color and thought I'd find a cheaper alternative. I can't find the Mega Eyes eyeshadow pots anywhere anymore. On a positive note, I found a great Humid dupe with the new Wet n Wild single shadows. And it's super pigmented and buttery smooth!

I'm always getting confused about quality vs my budget and this was really interesting. Having worn all those different products, does Mac last any longer, stay in place more than the cheaper brands or is it all in the name?

Well I definitely think that price does not determine the quality of the product, most of the time you are paying for the brand name like Mac or Urban Decay, etc. Those products are great and have cute packaging and catchy names, but there are products of equal or better quality in the drugstore. I think they last about same as long as I wear an eyeshadow primer like UDPP or too faced shadow insurance. Hope this helps:)

It really depends. MAC has high pigment color, but I have drugstore makeup that is more vibrant than some of the eyeshadows. I have Endless Love and Jeweltone by MAC and their color is really faint...I don't know why, I've tried everything to get them to go on better but the application is pretty bad.

I'm so tired of my eyeshadows not working for me. I only buy drugstore. I sat down and swatched all the ones I have (a ton) and threw out anything that just didn't have any oomph/pigmentation. Seems like the shimmery ones did best, but I'm kind of getting over that.

thanks for watching. If you want the best pigmented drugstore eyeshadows ever, get the new Wet N Wild Color Icon palettes. I have a review on them and they have so many mac dupes that I list in the video and I give swatches. They're more pigmented than mac! And they're only like $5 or less!

No I haven't. I prefer blotting papers to blot powder. I pretty much use my make up for ever hd powder as a setting/blotting powder. Any powder with silica in it with help prevent shine and get rid of oil.

Crease color on the chai latte pallette from maybelline is a lot like woodwinked.

You're right I just got the chai latte quad and the outer corner color looks like mac's espresso and the lid color looks like wedge.

Wow! Super great Dupe Review! Very indepth! And the dupes are so close! Thanks for doing this! Looks like you put in a lot of work for this vid! If you want a good dupe for MAC-Vanilla, get Revlon Vintage Lace in their Matte collection. I have both and they are pretty much exact! :O)

Hey wow. u must have tested alot of eyeshadows to find these. they are great. so now I am thinking about going out and buying some of this stuff. Oh hey quick question, is the maybelline natural smokes quad matte eye shadows or are they sparkly/glittery? cuz i am more of a matte eyeshadow person. dont like glitter or sparkle.

The natural smokes quad is both matte and shimmer. The bottom two colors are matte and the top two are shimmery but they are not too shimmery at all. The quad is awesome you get dupes of Mac's Vanilla, Brun, Satin Taupe, and Mulch. I forgot to mention that the crease color for that quad is a dupe for mulch. I hope you like the quad I know you will. I'm uploading a mac brush dupes video right now so stay tuned and I'm going to do a tutorial using the maybelline quad.
