Elton's voice ages like a fine wine. This video was recorded in 1990, just after he got out of rehab, and 3 years after his throat surgery. Sure, his voice has gotten deeper over the years, but it has also gotten richer. He is 63 now, and his piano playing and voice are very fine tuned and flawless. I have seen him many many times in concert, and personally, I love his solo stripped down versions. Elton is an exceptional artist, without flaw, who truly plays from the heart.

His voice is shot its got deeper over the years. His voice sounded good till about 2001.
