I noticed that for your fast chugs you didn't anchor your picking hand (at least it seemed that way). Do you find that helps with the gallop riffs?

@zakkrandydimshrd I mean using your pinky to you a reference point for your picking hand (for example, John Petrucci does this) as opposed to a more "floating" style (like Yngwie Malmsteen). Another guy who "anchors" is Michael Romeo (check out his solo for "Sea of Lies" to see what I mean).

@zakkrandydimshrd He probably means when one would anchor their pinky on the body of the guitar for example (maybe around the pickup ring).
