  • needs better quality recording, good shit tho

  • your drummer is every bit as good as Meg White...

  • Nice....Jack would be flattered.

  • Comment removed

  • You have the stuff.

Do you do anything but covers?

  • @blardosplats Thank's my friend.

We have a couple of songs, but we still don't finished...

But soon we recorder, we will put here on youtube !!!

    God Bless You !

    \o/

  • WELL DONE!

  • you DO sound like Jack

  • NO WAY

  • White Stripes are hard to copy but you guys nailed it. Rock on peoples :)

  • oh man. when i saw this i rolled my eyes like OHHH GODDDD HERE WE GO!!! then i listened and boy you all made me shut the fuck up. A+ white stripes clones. love it

  • her drumming is so mundane -_-

  • if i didnt know this wasnt i definately would have thought this was the real thing

  • i doubt there's a better jack white double than you.

  • I like you better than White Stripes...

  • Great cover. w00t at your vocals man! Really similar to Jack.

  • Its an American Folk Song of unknown origin

  • great cover 5 stars.. and there's nothing wrong with your name

  • Yes Bernstein you are correct. This song is listed as Traditional...Which means the writer is unknown and the song is public domain.

This is fact, not my opinion.

  • ASHTRAY HEART! Performed on SNL in the late 70's by the Captain...

  • cool vid

guys, it is Blind Willie McTell, not johnson--just saying

john the revelator is a biblical song, ya know Jack was going to be a priest?

he covers son house a bunch but ya ever hear the captain beefheart stuff? like ashtray heart? check it ouot

    later!

  • @ickystone

John the Revelator is definitely Blind Willie Johnson, not McTell.

  • Best astro cover ever!!!!!!!!!

  • awesome, really its great. but your band name "the true noise" bothers me so great job i just dont like your name

  • awesome covers

  • defentially the best cover of this song on youtube

  • Thank you very much my friend !!!

    \o/

  • This was a cover by the Stripes.

Jack tricked ya into covering Blind Willie Johnson.

    Hat's off to Jack!

...and you for the cool cover. :)

  • and blind willie covered son house!!!!

  • and son house covered someone else. nobody knows who originally wrote that song

  • blind willie johnson

  • son house has a great cover of john the revelator, but its blind willie johnson whom originally wrote the song.

  • No Blind Willie Johnson was just the first man to record the song. Nobody knows who wrote it originally.

  • son house didnt write it either... its an old gospel song

  • Your voice sound much like Jack's.. but relax more and feel free and dive into the music.

  • bit awkward and out of key but whatever, people seem to like it.

Maybe you're a bit shy of letting out all your energy on a piece.

  • Verry well done!

  • these people are right.. You've got a good voice for the tune.

  • DEEEEUUUDDDDE! you have a great voice for that whole thing. you should write some original stuff. it could really work. see, lots of bands come out that have decend voices, but just sound like they're trying to sing to fit their genra, or sound like some band they like. you've got some genuine soul brotha! i know it when i hear it. just throw on some charisma and you've got that one band people are hearing in town these days that's really sweet, then get noticed. and i will too. and we can tour!

  • Wooooaaahhhh... God bless you for the nice comment... We really love to play... and we start to do some songs too... I holpe we recorder soon... then I will put here for you to hear... x] ... I holpe we can tour together one day... \o/... Good luck for us !!!

  • for SURE! i'll let you know if i get famous and we'll play some arena shows in like, brazil or something.

  • I hope for youtube's sake you do that recorder for christmas or something, I completely agree with MantraD313

  • Thank's for you comment... \o/ ... is good to known what you guys think about my band... this cheered us up to get better and better... God bless you all... \o/

  • wow you sound a bit like Jack man :o

We got a better camera soon... I holpe so... thank's for the "Jack White-sloppy" I love it !!! My sister love you for your comment about her... \o/ God Bless You for your very nice comments... is people like you who inspired us to play White Stripes songs... x]

  • This is AMAZING! you guys did EXTREMELY WELL. you need to get a better camera though, so the sound quality will be better. your cover deserves better quality! I'm very impressed!!!! please accept my friend request. as some one said, the guitar was Jack White-sloppy. very fitting. and the singing has to be some of the best rock singing on youtube rock covers. i thought the drummer was Meg >_>

  • didnt willie johnson write john the revelator?

  • I know Jack sings it similarly to the way Son House does but I have no idea if Son wrote it or not.

  • Maybe nobody wrote. It coulda been a popular work song.

  • theres a few songs like this, i'd be interested to know who wrote in my time of dying (Covered by led zeppelin) i love bob dylans version but i'm not convinced his was the first, sounds like an old gospel song or something!!!!

  • blind willie johnson was the first, then everyone and their mother covered it.

Blind willie's is the best but Jack's is a close second, at least for me.

  • that song is a gospel, a church chior somewhere in the south sung it first

  • awesome guys! especially liked "astro" and "jack the ripper". keep it up!

  • good cover guys!

south american stripes cover band! that's good

check out my instrumental version of Black Math if you can

    greetings

  • I like to hear you as I'm deep in France! It rocks! Keep it on!

  • Fucking great \m/

  • I have come back to watch this pretty much every day since I found it. You guys are fun! The guitar work is perfectly Jack-Sloppy and the drums are awesomely Meg-Stiff (and she's cute). Even the English as a Second Language vocals are great. I need to find me a chick drummer too so I can start something like this up! \m/ ROCK ON \m/

  • Thank u very much for the best comment that anyone say to us !!! We love all your words, include my sister on drums. \o/

We holpe u find a drummer for u too, and record ours video and we gonna watch.. Good Bless You.

  • so what part of this is a white stripes cover? john the revelator is a very old song taht predates white stripes... think its from the 20s :P

  • Yeah... John The Revelator is a very old song from Son House and the White Stripes song are Cannon and Astro, Jack The Ripper is form The Premiers... \o/

  • Sweet. Nice sound.

  • Indeed nice playing...

    Enjoyed it

  • you guys fuckin rock.

  • Great stuff.

There is some chemistry there and a unique sound of your own.

    Remember me when your famous!

  • I love this big crazy sound!!

  • It's great to see another brother/sister Stripes cover band--or at least one that covers some of the band's songs. Are you just as passionate about it as my sister and I are? I hope so. Excellent work. Keep it up! :)

Yeah, Jack White have this kind of acoustic guitar, but is not the same, but I love it... \o/

God bless you for watching us

    =]

  • When you say orginal don't you mean Blind Williw Johnson, who didn't use drums btw

  • i meant the white stripe's version.

  • wow great job ..

  • nice job. wow that girl can drum better than me.

  • nice, you have a good voice for the songs and the drumming's spot on.

  • that was brilliant you guys, keep it up and maybe do some songs of your own! what effects/amp you usin on that geetar?

  • God bless you for the nice comment, we really apreciated !!! \o/

We work on our own songs, when we finished, I'll record and put here... =]

    And, for the effects:

For distorcion/fuzz I used the Big Muff NYC, and for solo and base octave's, I used the Behringer Multi Fx 100.
