U shud connect your house to your other buildings by underground so if its nite and you need to get through u wont have any trouble. Also replace the water with lava so it lights the place up

Dig out a large courtyard in the middle of your house ( that go's up to the top of the mountain( to let light in)) and soround that with rooms and tunnels and stuff ( like PotatoOrgy's Hogwarts). Also thanks for the great videos and keep 'em coming!

i suggest building a second and third floor in the mountain (also possibly a basement before your mine) and then make a balcony on the 2 floor with fence posts on the 2 outside corners so it seems like support i think it would look really nice :)

erm maybe you can make like this house where it has a lookout tower really tall so #1 you can shoot mobs from above, and #2 I can find it from a long way away ;)

And also for that pool thing. You should start out with 1 block deep. then once the water is still, then dig down and it will still remain still :P
