Research Derren Brown NLP and watch the Youtube Vidoe(s) and see how touch has to do with anchoring someone an emotional response and then get their unconscious mind to agree with you. Visual stimulation is very powerful as well, but verbal cues are reinforced with physical touch. Just check it out!

Great video 13H. There was a UK sceptic (whose name escapes me) that used to do similar shows on pseudo-science medical quackery, but I had never head of Brian Brushwood until I saw your video. He's a much more interesting communicator than the English guy, it has to be said; though being a magician by trade, he probably has to be :)
