There ARE people who pay $100 or more to have someone else pee on their faces... and they do feel better afterward. Said practice usually also involves the use of whips, chains and lots of leather.
snake oil peddlers! Auras? Easter bunnies? heh. I remember reading somewhere they used to put cocaine (among other crazy things) into those little bottles.
Easter bunnies? Those were squirrels. "Squirrel" is the derogatory term used to describe $cilon defectors who keep using the "technology" when having been forbade to do so.
Much science is "pseudo-science". Cold Fusion has been debunked almost to death, yet people are still duplicating the results in their own basements. So when "science" keeps turning its back on real results, it becomes little more than a religion itself.
Research Derren Brown NLP and watch the Youtube Vidoe(s) and see how touch has to do with anchoring someone an emotional response and then get their unconscious mind to agree with you. Visual stimulation is very powerful as well, but verbal cues are reinforced with physical touch. Just check it out!
The benefits of going Clear, according to Hubbard, were dramatic. A Clear would have no compulsions, repressions, psychoses or neuroses, and would enjoy a near-perfect memory as well as a rise in IQ of as much as 50 points.
if you never thought scientology was a pile of shit, this should be the proof!
This video is going to be all sorts of useful to disprove other claims of miracles and healings. It's not just scientology who does these kinds of bullshpseudoscience (nice touch, 13H).
Great video 13H. There was a UK sceptic (whose name escapes me) that used to do similar shows on pseudo-science medical quackery, but I had never head of Brian Brushwood until I saw your video. He's a much more interesting communicator than the English guy, it has to be said; though being a magician by trade, he probably has to be :)
Good video
