  • ORAAH! :)

  • I want to go in time to 1900

  • is referring to the Boer war ti even said in the show more area so that means no Americans in it and it was recorded in 1901 so no ww1 o.k

  • waw

  • WWI or Civil war?

  • @SpliNterCellFan697 It was written during the Spanish American war then became popular over here during the Boer War.

  • @hawkmoon03111951 Oh my bad thank you.

    Sincerely,

    Steve

  • @hawkmoon03111951 I would have thought Civil War! Thanks for the history lesson mate!

  • @SpliNterCellFan697 I hope you know WWI was in 1914 and Civil War was 1860s

  • Dear Hawkmoon and Humprhrey, Ha Ha Ha etc, etc. Who's laughing now? We all have a new(old) enemy. Get together and fight it. But first of all, recognise it. Otherwise you're farting in the wind with your efforts. It's just what they want you to do. P.S. I'm an Australian. And this tune is both passionately loved and hated in Australia. Why? Well, that's just another thing for you to do your homework on before diving in with passion. Recognise the real enemy. P.P.S. Go 'Pies!!
  • GO THE PIES!!!!

  • carn the pies..... no idea wat toy soldiers is tho

  • TOY SOLDIERS

  • @cal2mon classical?

  • this song has gained popularity from the ww1 xbox game toy soldiers

  • @PistOffBruteStudios or has it?

  • I love this! Is there anyplace I can download it? I don't have a problem with paying for it.

  • This song is stuck in my head, because of that game Toy Soldiers. I must say, it is a great song.

  • @SaxonLore i once had to listen to that song for about 20 minutes while i was waiting for my friend ti join my game

  • @SaxonLore Same Here!

  • amazing! Woderful pics as well! I think I'm getting a sweet tooth for this old English music.

  • @bnfox Ye Gods! You'll be liking HMK next. Harry MacDonough was Canadian I think. Don't know of any other singers at the time with that name. I have also got a version by Florrie Forde on here. She's Australian. Obviously an empire thing.

  • @hawkmoon03111951 - I'll have to figure out how the 'empire thing" has affected current American music trends - LOL!

  • @MrHumpyBogart Hands off our 'empire thing', you Herberts rejected being party to that a couple of hundred years ago.

  • @hawkmoon03111951 - oh so sorry, m boyo , but we'll handle the empire thing now - while you Brits cut your miltary spending to 1950s levels, we pistol packin yanks spend more than the rest of the world put together. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haHA HA HA HA HA - NOW we get to spend all our dough and get bogged down in pointless wars in jungles and deserts all over the world. Whose laughing now??

  • @MrHumpyBogart Yeah, being the 'big boy on the block' isn't all it's made out to be. You won't get any thanks but you'll have lots of criticism for your adventures. Beware though, whenever we cut our army a BIG war is looming round the corner. Pity Blair didn't know his history. We played the 'great game' with the Russians in Afghanistan in the late 1800's. We know it's an impossible place to win a war. Enjoy your spending.

  • @hawkmoon03111951 - ha ha ha ha ha ha - yeah - funny biz that empire thing.Like mark Twain said: 'history may not repeat, but it sure rhymes."

  • @MrHumpyBogart me BANZIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (stabs u)

  • @multixplayer1 -blah blah, nancy

  • @MrHumpyBogart Apparently nobody nice.

    What's your next poser?

  • @naganokumas -your mummy, nancy boy

  • @MrHumpyBogart My brother, I have been called worse than such. And you should know so.

  • @hawkmoon03111951 Yes, he was Canadian. He was born John Scantlebury Macdonald in Hamilton, Ontario.

  • Me, too! I can actually understand what the hell they're singing!
