Hi sweetie, I was filmed for Big Medicine and was left on the cutting room floor and that's all good. I was talking to Garth and asked if there was any way I could get a copy and he said you might as well try to get something from Fort Knox. Do not worry about that footage. You are protected by law. And...if it makes you feel any better I had to do the same thing in front of my doc, 3 nurses and my husband. He had never seen me either. I'm sorry it felt bad. The consultation process is no fun!

Dear Taunia - You are going to be okay! I know it! I don't know your whole story, but it sounds like we might share some experiences. I truly believe that people who have been through what we have been through were put on this earth for a very special reason! I don't know mine yet, but I'm sure that I haven't gone through all this shit just to be disappointed and let down! Neither have you.
The things that make us feel the weakest are also the things that can make us the strongest. Use this as a learning experience see what you can take from it to make you more beautiful and stronger than you are already. My heart and prayers goes out to you but know this is just a season made up of many seasons.....

Taunia - I have been watching your videos for a good while now and I have always found you very inspirational. I still do. But I have to ask you would it of been as tramatic for you if you had gotten the spot on the show. You would still have gotten undressed and filmed it all. You still would not have owned the rights to the tape. And it would have been out there for all the world to see. Don't overwelm yourself with all these worries. When one door closes another opens.
I am so sorry that this happened to you. I think you are an incredibly positve person from the videos that I have watched thus far. I want to remind you of the positve that did get accomplished. You flew to LA by yourself. I too am terrified and though the outcome was not what you wanted I am so proud of you also for flying by youself.

No worries...at my heaviest I modeled as a "before" model for an exercise tool....another time I was the "after" model for a show that attempted to scare parents into not letting their children become obese. You look better than ever, I really mean that.
Something good can still come from this experience. I'm hoping for you to have a good report in the end. Look up because you did face fears and that in and of itself is courageous!

As someone who's somewhat involved in the film industry here in LA, please don't worry about those tapes. They typically end up in a big vault somewhere and are never seen or heard of again. The tv industry sucks, they're all jerks, so please don't take it personally. I know it was a really big thing for you, but please, please don't let them make you feel bad! Im so sorry to hear about this situation. I can totally understand how you feel. When I got my tummy tuck a lot of people had to see me basically naked and I cried as well. There was one point after my surgery that they had to lift my shirt up and they were almost going to see my chest and I just started having a breakdown and cried because I feel I can never show anyone.

I would demand those pics and footage be destroyed and if they use it against you GET A GOOD LAWYER!

Honestly, I would contact a lawyer simply because it sounds like you were lead to believe one thing, put in a very uncomfortable position and now you are home and have no idea where that footage,pictures ect were. Taunia - I have been watching your videos for a good while now and I have always found you very inspirational. I still do. But I have to ask you would it of been as tramatic for you if you had gotten the spot on the show. You would still have gotten undressed and filmed it all. You still would not have owned the rights to the tape. And it would have been out there for all the world to see. Don't overwelm yourself with all these worries. When one door closes another opens.

As someone who's somewhat involved in the film industry here in LA, please don't worry about those tapes. They typically end up in a big vault somewhere and are never seen or heard of again. The tv industry sucks, they're all jerks, so please don't take it personally. I know it was a really big thing for you, but please, please don't let them make you feel bad! Im so sorry to hear about this situation. I can totally understand how you feel. When I got my tummy tuck a lot of people had to see me basically naked and I cried as well. There was one point after my surgery that they had to lift my shirt up and they were almost going to see my chest and I just started having a breakdown and cried because I feel I can never show anyone.

Honestly, I would contact a lawyer simply because it sounds like you were lead to believe one thing, put in a very uncomfortable position and now you are home and have no idea where that footage,pictures ect were. I'm so sorry ! i can grasp why you are so upset , if they had wanted to photograph and film me , i would have assumed it was because they did want my story and that they needed my before in case i won the prize, but they do not need everyone's .I'm also very confused why it wasn't just one camera person , you and perhaps a female asking you questions in a room, so that you could feel some what comfortable. this is very sad . I'm sorry you are having to go through this.

I can not say any more than what has already been said. All I wanted to do while watching your video is give you a hug. I know you don't want to talk about it, but talking about it is the best therapy. You have gone through so much already I totally agree God was protecting you. Surly you signed some stupid form stating they could do what they wanted with the imagines they took damn them. I feel violated for you. <3 YOU GIRL! You will be ok just collect yourself ... dust yourself off and I see bigger and better things coming your way. HOLLYWOOD is CRAZY. The producers of shows will say and do anything to get ya out there ... then one person who is making the decision might not like ya and your done. Don't sweat it. Hey I think not making it on the show is better then being kicked off the first week for something dumb :) Thinking of ya!!

I'm so sorry about the tv show and what happened. I know this may not be of much comfort, but I think it's a blessing because if they put you through that before the cameras started rolling, I can only imagine what they would pressure you to do once they started filming. I believe God was protecting you. I have no doubt in my mind you will be successful. You have a great story and you can help others. That is success in my book. *hugs*

Taunia--you TRIED. That's the thing to take away here. You took a leap of faith (and they call it that for a reason) and you did it. You have made such incredible strides in your life and should be so very proud of yourself. Think about if you hadn't tried and always wondered "what if?"
