I agree with the comments on Taylor Hicks. I mean, that was a total, "WTF" moment. Rueben, I'm neither here nor there with that choice. I thought he and Clay were both good. Fantasia is a good singer, but she overdoes it with the church screaming and yelling. Plus, I didn't think she was better than Latoya London and Jennifer Hudson. Again, I love Fantasia and I have her CD, but I just didn't think she was better than the 2 girls I mentioned.

The best may not win, true but the most popular always does,its the votes that count. Even in the real world, the most successful artistes are not always the best singers but those who can pull the crowds, uve got to have sth more than just a wonderful voice and usually it is the person who has that extra sth that takes the crown home. thats just the way it is.

Allison was awful. She reminded me of Megan's voice. Born to be Wild/Adam Lambert version was okay, but I liked the original version that I grew up with. I thought Matt was okay. Danny's voice was not tender enough to be reaching our hearts. The judges do not want Allison on the show anymore.

I think Simon will always find a problem with Lil Rounds until she gets eliminated.. I thought she sounded really good this week. The judges have their favorite/s already (that creepy, screamy Adam) so Lil can't catch a break. She is also better than Allison I believe.

There has only been ONE time when Allison has been a little off but every other week she has gotten excellent comments from the judges. Lil gets the same comments since the top 13 which is now so far a broken record you just hope it will go away. She clearly is not good enough singer.

Lil is not good enough. Allison is excellent. Lil tries too hard to either be like the artist eg Tina Turner when she tried to copy the moves etc or she tries to sing a difficult song in hopes of suddenly being praised for being the one to beat on the show but it doesn't work. Compare from top 13 comments she has gotten to Allison. Allison tried with the no doubt song but it didn't quite work but every other time she has been one of the best.

Personally, I think Lil would be better if she got to pick her own songs, rather than picking from their song sheets. Her audtion was GREAT! Sorry but i have my OWN opinions. Allison IS better than Lil. Lil is not being picked on "because they don't want her to win" it is because she tries too hard to be the best when clearly she is not as good otherwise she would not be getting the SAME comments each week. Lil,Anoop and Matt are the worst 3 out of the top 7 because they just are not improving or in Anoops case not enough. My favourite is Allison because she unlike Lil CAN do songs people think don't suit her.

Because Carrie Underwood was tossed in with 11 people who were awful! Too easy. You didn't see girls like Latoya London & Jennifer Hudson going all the way in season 3. What happened there? This is what i absolutely HATE about shows when they fix for a Black or "ethnic minority" to win a show because of being accused of racism. So the only 2 ethnic minorities are the WORST singers but just to not be accused of racism toward that minority make them win? Yeah, as a black woman, sure, I love to see people of my race achieve, but I don't like handouts. Fantasia in my opinion was not the best that year. I thought J. Hudson and L. London were better, but they were voted off. I thought Clay Aiken was a little better than Ruben. Ruben can sing, but he sounds the same in every song. Clay changed a little more.

Now I just got done watching Lil Rounds sing Chaka Khan, and I'm sorry...she sucked tonight! I like her, but this was her worst night.

i agree i thought lil was one of the best vocalist, but is it me or was she trying her hardest not to look like a typical black musician. BY singing even though i dont like to say it, but it the best way to explain it, she was choosing white based songs. And because her vocals are well out of those ranges, it mad her sound very plain. For the record, Quentin was the perfect guest judge. He's not only a cinema maverick, he single handledly made Miserylu the anthem for all things grunge in mid '90s. He wrote Natural Born Killers, directed Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Four Rooms, and Kill Bill. He's well known for selecting the perfect music to suit his films. So naturally, he would know how to help DIRECT the performers. Oh well, I agree about song choices, but not about Tarantino. Win-some Lose-some.

Loved the impressions too. They were spot on. George Huff in season 3 is the only person to ever pick a group during the Top 7 Elimination. He ended up picking the wrong group. That was the night that Jennifer Hudson went home. So mad my Tivo cut off the rant. I should have learned my lesson after last week!!!
