  • He's baaaaaaaaaack.....

  • I would say that any veteran group would realize that there is a safe path through this dungeon based on the fact that the individual in the tower had to go through there safely himself.....

The 3 working together are getting screwed by one of their members actively choosing to sabotage their adventure because they didn't do what he wanted them to do.....

  • @TheREALIzludez Tellin' it like it is.

  • @repsesper

When is the next so to say "pod cast" ?

  • Man Esper you are a cruel DM, I wouldn't throw so many traps and tough creatures so fast. But they would come eventually.

  • @hexen203 Well, I wouldn't exactly say cruel. This adventure was designed to be challenging for veteran players.

  • @repsesper I would like to hear your opinion on the D&D 4.0 system. I personally dislike the fact that you need a Defender and a Leader to make it possible to beat an adventure. Without a Defender all other characters will die too fast and without a Leader the whole Healing Surge mechanic becomes useless. Back in D&D 3.0 or even AD&D you could have a full Mages group or a full Fighters group beat an adventure, some groups would beat it easier then others but they would nontheless.

  • @hexen203 When the party of 3e fighters get ability-drained, dominated, and panicked with fear, how exactly are they going to succeed in the adventure?

  • @repsesper you are right about those lockdowns. I really felt that the players can have a lot more of control over their combats in 4E. I'm not really used to discussing this on YouTube but I have to say 4E is really good but some of the feeling of character from 3e was lost, at least a little. When I play a Warforged in 3e for exemplo, I feel like I'm playing a golem, but not in 4E. But nevermind... in the end this discussions are worthless I think.

  • @hexen203 I do kind of feel the same about the warforged. I liked how they were done in 3E better, like you said, significantly different than the standard "fleshy" races. 4e streamlined them a little too much. I mean, a warforged wearing hide armor? I did a double-take when I saw that.

  • @hexen203 Well, I wouldn't exactly say cruel. This adventure was designed to be challenging for veteran players.

  • So many deaths xD
