Binh Duong, Vietnam Orphanage

In vietnam i see little kids like 6 or 7 on the side on the road younger than me and im still young and there caring for a baby or toddler. And i wonder why are they here. I know people are abandoned here or there parents die from a sickness and they don't go with a relative but they don't have the care like mostly everyone else has.

You really gotta appreciate what the orphanage carers do with tiny budgest and few staff. It must be hard.

Seeing people who have adopted from these orphanages and have had children reach milestones on time astounds me. Most orphan kids are mentally incapacitated because of the lack of stimulation as babies, and to see how horrible these orphanages are..

I know. Its terrible, but there realy is nothing much else that can be done, unless millions are provided to the orphanages, and numbers of children in care cut down.

This is why the foster care system is such a wonderful thing-of course, people disagree, and sometimes, they are right, but all in all, it is better to have five kids in a foster home than 50 in one room, with only 2 or 3 carers.
