Yes, imo Good Morgana > Evil Morgana > Freya.

Good Morgana was for me the best part of the show but even the "evil one" is still better in my eyes than Freya. (But both [Freya and Morgana] gave Merlin in return what he did to them.

He liked Frey -> Freya like him, He tried to kill Morgana -> Morgana is trying to kill him and his friends.)

I hope they get together eventually, but the thing is, so far Merlin has kind of been a family-friendly show, there's romance but not a lot of what you would call "sexual tension" in the show, so it's not very likely that the writers will incorporate an intense love/hate sexual relationship between two enemy characters in a show like this. But we can hope.

@AmandaLynnCorkum Know this is sort of late, but even if I'm not into the whole romance thing in the show itself, I've always liked the Morgana Le Fay storyline and in the classic story she and Arthur have an on-again/off-again relationship, which of course is strenghtened when she takes Arthur to Avalon, but in this show, being so modern, I don't think they support polygamy, and in the show Morgana is (atm) portrayed like she's gone completely hay-wire, so Merlin's the logical choice for her :p

I actually don't think so. Yes Morgana would know that she wasn't alone, that Merlin was there for her etc. But it was written in the prophecies that she would become evil. So in some way, she would have turned evil with or without Merlin. She would still hate Uther and she would hate it to hide who she really is, she would want to get magic back in the kingdom, and she wouldn't be afraid to kill Uther if she had to together with Morgause, who she would have met anyway.

We can hope for better but I don't think we'll get it. I think Morgana will end up being a tragic casualty in the fight, made all the more tragic by the fact that she was/is such a good friend and caring person but I think like Uther, the compassion she has will be lost due to the fight over magic.
