@UltimaGardevoir I had the same issue: put it in your hardrive and open from said hardrive. Do not move it somewhere else.

@shadowlinkxx12 Yes. You'll need to have two things for this though; a sprite sheet for the character and a (or some) face graphics for him/her.

I have both XP and VX at home, in my laptop. Although I refuse to compare the quality of both versions, because both are good in their own ways, I was wondering if in RMXP there is a way to make our own sprites (for SBS purposes), as in VX?

@MrRpgmakerkid Why would you say VX is better? The sprites are smaller, you're stuck with the awful tiling it gives you, and the system in general is just nowhere NEAR as flexible as XP.

If you're an amateur and want your hand held through the entire process, go with VX. If you want to develop something more seriously and make a beautiful looking game, go with XP.

@BurningFetus I must diagree I am a profational with years of expiriance i dont say that vx is the best i actuly must say ther are low amout of sprites BUT!

XP has a stupid thing that you need to make a new layer for the inside ther for i will need to make 100 of maps for shop

and houses also VX has a shourtcut to transfer and doors wich Xp doesn't i agree if you are serias with the rpg you are making go with xp butif your lazy VX

I can¡ Get your new tileset and while in RMXP press F10, go to tileset menum, and click IMPORT, go to your tileset and add it, and TADAH ya got a tileset
