  • My grandfather was a diabetic he took shots, he fought in the 2nd world war. He lived to 93 years of age and died of natural causes. But he did not strain his body with alcohol or white sugars. I recommend you'all watch Dr Afrikas video about diabetes. He gives very good points on how to live a healthy normal life.

  • alguien ha probado la leche de alpiste ? suerte !!

    I don't think you do..

Diabetes usually causes high blood sugar..

I have it and I'm not over weight..

If you get dizzy, it usually means you have a low blood sugar..

  • I think I might have Diabetes. I urinate a lot. some days about 6 times or more in half an hour with almost no water. Also it runs in my family. My Great grandma had it and I think her mother too. I also get Head throbbing migranes about once a day for about 5 hours. I am 12 133 lbs and about 4'9. Please reply. I still need to go to the doctor to make sure but someone Please Reply.

  • @MintyFresh1999 well your post is 3 weeks old already but i will reply anyway, have you seen a doctor yet? if not make that appointment and not only for your current worry but for any concerns you may have about your health, seeing a doctor will bring light to any problems you may or may not have, its essential for peace of mind. Take the worry out of the equaision and start living like a 12 year old supposed to live, not with worry but having fun with other kids your age..

  • @MintyFresh1999

Hi.I'm a medicine student (5. grade) in Turkey. The first symptoms of DM are xerostomia, nocturia, polyuria, polydipsia and loosing weight.Nocturia means 2 or more urinate in a night.Do you have any symptoms of them? If you have, should see an endocrinologist soonish.

There are other reasons of polyuria.Don't think only DM.

  • hey guys im overweight and i think i might have diabetes but when i check my blood sugar its at 110 or lower before i eat.....then i wait after i eat and it gets lower throughout the day...but after i eat i get dizzy do u think i might have diabetes??????

  • Dr Johanna Budwig Diet that includes eating Flaxseed Oil and Cottage Cheese blended together can reverse diabetes. The diet was mainly used to cure cancer.

  • to all those people commenting saying "oh i think i have all the symptoms" "oh my foot looks a bit like that" "but i don't want to tell anyone" seriously man the FUCK up, go to your doctor, all he will do is ask you some questions (symptom related) then ask you to piss into a tube to see if you have high glucose in your urine. Job done.

  • @mackyd101 Is type 1 worse than type 2?

  • @starsfound They are both as bad as each other in terms of what is happening to your body however theoretically yes, type 1 is inherited through family history or you can just be unlucky and you are born with it non-inherited. With type 1 diabetes you have to take insulin injections and maintain a controlled diet as such. Type 2 on the otherhand is a lifestyle factor for example an unhealthy diet, inactive, hypertension so on and so forth. If your parents are obese chances are you will have t2

  • @mackyd101 Thanks for the info.

  • @starsfound depends on how u look at it rly...im a type 1 diabetic, and i can eat whatever i want as long as i give the proper ammounts of insulin.type 2 on the other hand has a steady diet, which can make life a bit complicated :/ pills on the other hand are much easier to carry around, store and consume as well as much cheaper.so it depends rly on how u look at it :/

  • @MaRaX93 Are you saying the type 2 diabetic doesn't need insulin?

  • @starsfound no my friend,i think you dont understand...type 1 diabetics dont produce insulin, therefor their blood sugar is high. type 2 diabetics produce normal ammounts, but their cells become insulin intolerant due to a number of factors.diabetics with type 2 diabetes use pills to solve these issues, but the dosage is dependant on how much a person eats,so u cant eat like a pig one day, then eat nothing the other day etc.ur dosage has to be steady, and therefor ur diet.

  • @MaRaX93 I've heard that you can control and or reverse type 2 diabetes, with that said, does that mean when you get your blood sugar to where it's suppose to by eating the right foods- suddenly your cells aren't intolerant to the insulin? Thanks for the info.

  • @MaRaX93 I'm back to tell you that your attitude towards diabetes-type 1 "I can eat whatever I want with the proper amount of insulin " is FLAT OUT STUPID! You have a serious condition and is FAR more worse than type 2!! Your attitude stinks guy!

  • @starsfound my HbA1c is 5.8%,u jelly? bet u have type 2 and at least >7

  • @MaRaX93 Lol , actually mine was 5.8 as well. In the morning when I test is 93 . But again your condition is FAR worse than any type 2 diabetic! Another thing don't expect to be around very long if you keep the attitude you can eat whatever you want, u jelly!

  • @starsfound and you base your arguement on thin air.i on the other hand am pre-med and actually know what i'm talking about.of course you can't eat like a pig because you will get fat and that will worsen the condition, but if i feel like it i can eat a whole chocolate cake and give the proper ammount of insulin and ill be fine.diabetics type 2 on the other hand can't...and learn how to use memes correctly idiot

  • @FroZinia You are a complete moron and who's the idiot that would have diabetes 1 or 2 that would sit down and eat a cake if they feel like it. NO YOU WOULDN'T BE FINE BITCH, LMAO @YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT...OK YOU DUMB ASS JELLY! BOTTOM LINE YOU'RE FUCKED WITH THE TYPE 1 AND FAR OFF WORSE THAN 2. STUPID COW!

  • @mackyd101 hahaahahahahahahaahaaha love this

  • aw shit.. i'm kinda freakin out that have all the symptoms but i'm afraid to tell anyone

  • fat bitch hahaha jk..

  • Aww I'm sorry guys I can say I have what's said to be typ 2 and my pops had it but he's not with us any more lord rest his soul and paines he was ridin with it to the point he just gave up, feet kiddneys and most ther is,and the diseese is so darn debilataiting and devastating I wish all you guys hear and not hear a blessing from the lord that we all pull through and for him to help us to get rid of this bad dissese ...... Amen y.r.s.t TheToe may god bless us all

  • Alpha Lipoic Acid. They're using it in Germany to treat neuropathy and it works really well. Their medical association has endorsed it as the official treatment. I know several people who are taking it and they say after a couple weeks they've seen improvement.

  • Oh my god this i have got the same patches on my right foot as shown in the video 0:25

    god i'm scared

  • and thank this is from the up's and down's

  • so typ1 diabetes is prducing not enough insulin and type 2 diabetes is producing too much glucose?

  • @FoolishInTheEnd Type 1 = insufficient insulin due to destruction of insulin producing cells in Islets of Langerhans. Type 2 = decreased response to insulin from cells due to being a fat loser that eats high glucose junk food constantly.

  • Im scared AND IM 12

  • @PokeDot517 Don't be scared! Being scared itself will cause many problems.

  • This is a great video and just for others who may read this that are diabetic I found a great site that helped my friend out alot who is a diabetic thediabetichelpers

  • wow

  • damn... my mom has this.. i feel so sorry for her

  • Omg.... I've all the symptoms all that, I hope I don't get positive when I'm gonna go to the doctor... fuck

  • The key thing we need to teach everyone focusmedica is to stay hydrated and slightly alkalined. The Body only needs minerals, essential fatty acids, and enzymes to function properly. Well that and of course plenty of water and to eat healthy. I think your video is great and we want to help as many people as we can. We are having 100% success rate with diabetes. Let me know if you would like to know more about this miracle satchet of ours that you simply add to your bottled water.

  • @TheBlakestersXooma hey i dont have diabetes yet but i do eat a lot off junk food, sometimes i eat healthy but i eat more junk food more then healthy food. is there way u can help me to get rid of diabetes just in case in the future i get one. i hope this makes sense to u , thanks for listen :)

  • I'm hurting just watching this.

  • The aftermath of not treating diabetes is horrific. But it doesn't have to be all boring food. Stop by my channel and see how natural ingredients in healthy chocolate can give you a delicacy every day. Created by a type 2 diabetic and physician approved. All the best to everyone's health!

  • what people don't under stand if u maintain proper diet and exercise your disease wont leave but will go dormant i know this and have seen it done its hard work but can be done we should think like this eat to live not live to eat.

  • I have fairly severe neuropathy in my feet and hands, and it's made my life hell. My feet are completely numb, yet they burn inside. My hands are half numb and I've lost at least 50% dexterity in them. They burn and sting, and it often feels like there's an electrical current running through them. It's ruined my life and I think about suicide every day. If you find out you are diabetic, PLEASE take care of yourself. You DO NOT want to end up like me. I have no future. Just chronic pain.

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN i have been declared diabetic.I am 42 now.Iam not feeling burining in feet at this stage. But i can feel your problem as my mom is also diabetic and she has severe neuropathy.Iike you, i am also thinking of ending my life. But, then some kind of hope arises inside, that consoles me.let us hope for the better. Please dnt think about suicide.Live for the people around you.

  • @molaqaati, If you do not have neuropathy yet, you still have the opportunity to avoid that misery and suffering. Eat a healthy diet, be careful of your sugar and carbohydrate intake, and watch your weight. Get at least a moderate amount of exercise each day. Good health may be the most important thing in life. Thank you for your kind words. I wish the best for you and your Mom, as well as the rest of your family. Take Care!

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN Thanks for your response and health advice.I am going to doctor on friday who will carry out ldl test, creatinine test, and ofcourse random blood sugar test once again.I shall try to act upon your advice.I am studying material available on this disease. But this disease is like termites which infest a tree's base.Let us we should not be disappointed and seek helf from the almighty.

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN I have a hereditary form of periphiral neuropathy, suffer from the same problems as you. Have you ever tried high dose vitamin C, seems to help me quite a bit.

  • @tickyul, I've never heard about vitamin C helping neuropathy. I have tried large doses of vitamin B6. Didn't help me. The only thing that helps me are narcotic pain relievers, and of course, those are hard to get. I have a prescription, but only for about half as much as I need. Doctors have to be careful prescribing these meds because so many people abuse them, and that just makes it more difficult for people who really need them to get them.

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN I have severe nerve damage in lots of areas of my body due to my disease, for my condition ALL high doses of b vitamins are contraindicated, can cause further damage. The fact lots of times pain is caused by inflammation, if you can figure out what causes it in your body you will see your pain drop a lot...and I do mean a lot. For me bad things are: certain dairy products, too many carbs and omega 6, red meat too often. Antinflammitories are Omega 3, fatty meat diet and motion.

  • the best PREVENTION of this disease is, to put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger.

  • @arvinian01: shut up i have type one what you have just seen is about people who dont give a shit about caring for there diabetes i care so none of this happens......dont give yourself your jags and BAM all this starts to happen

  • @arvinian01 You try it first, ok?

  • Its these soft drink companies, someone needs to shut these fuckers DOWN

  • Wow. I am 44 and I drink a lot of white wine, usually with pop/soda. Recently after imibbing, I have noticed a time later that I have developed hives on my breast and abdomen. I have also felt "tickles" on my head, face and body.

My Dr told me 2 years ago that I am a candidate for diabetes....am I now on my way?

  • (sorry this question is in a type 2 Diabetes section but i need help)

question ~ i know that in type 1 theirs no insulin so blood cant enter cell so theirs high concentration of glucose in blood , but how can there be a low contraction of glucose in blood (if insulin stops glucose from entering blood surely it will always remain high?) ? some one please reply asap ! D:

  • if you are type 2 stop eating white flours, like donuts, burritos, tacos, breads, hotdogs, tortillas, pasta, stop eating white sugars, candies, ice creams, pizza, hamburguers, they provoque me vomit, eat healthy, raw fruits, vegetables, little white meats and lots of water, none sugar and you get yourself cure by 40%

  • @beatryxa With a the proper nutrients you can maintain your bodies natural functions. There might not be a cure but having the proper nutrient supplement can make a big difference. I have helped many people with diabetes, eczema, and cancer patients to pass the 5 year mark. Take the time and visit the site and watch the "Solutions video"

  • My grandfather HAD type 2 diabetes and after following a strict diet for a couple years (I think it was the south beach diet) guess what, HE NO LONGER HAS TYPE 2 DIABETES!!! This was confirmed by his doctors!

  • why the fuck is this recommended for me

I DONT WANT TYPE 2 DIABETES WTF BITHC

  • YOURE GOING TO GET IT ONE DAY BITCH

  • I have trouble 'automatically' breathing when going to sleep if haven't eaten before I go to bed, and I produce massive loads of phlegm all the time. Any experts here know if there's a link between this and diabetes? I'm thin and don't feel nothing in my foot or anything though.

  • Also, I would like to add that I have produced the massive amounts of phlegm continiously for about a year now, and the breathing sleeping thing maybe 1 and a half year, so I haven't died yet. That's a good sign, right?

  • He says kidneys funny.

  • its help me a lot,,heheh,,tnx

  • is diabetes is curable..?? pls answer mY question.. because im only just 14 years old and i have a diabetes.and i have something in my right foot..and im overweight.....and my parents dont know about this.. sooo plsss im begging you is diabetes is curable...??!!!!!

  • Type one diabetes is not curable.

Diabetes 2 is more of a mystery and what causes it has be speculative.

This too is controlled with diet and exercise.

  • go tell your parents to take you to the hospital man its dangerous if you dont tell them you can get your legs amputated !!

  • never cured, but controlled...even then..to an extent

  • Diabetes is not curable. Type 2 diabetes may be controlled with a healthy diet and exercise. You live with diabetes for the rest of your life but can minimize your risks of complications if you follow your doctors orders. It's a life changing disease.

  • You should lose weight , even only 10-20% of your weight can make a HUGE difference....I hope I helped u!

  • Were you properly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes? That IS curable dispute what anyone says. The cure is dramatically changing your eating habits to keeping your blood sugar stable, exercise, and get to a healthy weight for your age and height. Your body can eventually reverse the diabetes.

  • nope. It's regulated. o.o go to a doctor..........it's something that can be lived with

  • 5dragons2, NO, WRONG! Type 2 diabetes is curable. FixMeThin7, has it about right.

  • Breakthrough new product. Please view my videos.

  • My mom was diabetes. She had all, if not most, of these symptoms. Yet she was so obesses with not eating fat (she cooked her steak in water), drank no-fat milk, and yet was diabetes. I think what really got her is not the fat but the high-carb diet she had been on for so many years: Pasta, bread, grains, etc.

  • i am type2 & i take insulin

  • Great animations! Please check out the video on Type II Diabetes on the Johnson & Johnson health channel.

    Thanks,

    Rob

  • I have diabetes..

  • this is all diabetes not just type 2 type 1 is worse atleast with type 2 u don't nessarily half to take shots

  • type 2 is worse because you have an easier chance of dieing

  • no u dont and type 2 is reversable with diet and a daily work out

  • Both of you should be on a low-carb diet!

  • actually type 1 doesn't matter with a low carb diet it doesn't produce insulin only high fat and high carb diets show heart problems

  • Carbohydrates are important whether or not you have diabetes, and you should mainly be eating the complex carbohydrates in high-fiber food because fiber slows down the digestion of carbohydrates, which would help to control blood glucose levels.

I think neither a "low-carb diet" or a "high-carb diet" are good. Everything should be controlled and balanced.

  • utter nonsense

  • About diet-

Glycemic Load is based on DIRECT measurement of the glycemic response to a known weight of test food. No calculation or estimation of GI from apparent weight of contained CARBOHYDRATE is needed. Although the GI Researchers can't or don't want to understand this, it is a fact
