  • The acoustic version (from At The Point) is so much better than this... I mean this actually sounds a little bit horrible.

  • I can't stop listening!

    addicted to this song! \o/

  • You can always find songs that sound like other songs. Its just the way music is sometimes. And I like both personally.

  • I find it interesting that: 1-the words "Kept" and "Car Crash" are in here <3 2-"You're so sorry bout it all" have the same melody as a similar line in "Sooner Surrender" and 3- "It's all wrong" sounds like "Come On Get Higher" a bit :)

  • no, sounds completely different. Well not completely different, they do hit some of the same notes, but that's it. also, who cares? Yeah they sounds a little similar to some extent, who the hell cares?

  • I don't care if it sounds the same as some other song. This is still amazing.

  • @archernem I use Dirpy now because after awhile Mp3ify won't let you download anymore. Dirpy doesn't do that and I have been using it for awhile. Also with Dirpy You can correct the Artist and song name before hand AND You can watch the video while its downloading. All in all Dirpy dot com is the best website to get this song

  • I LOVE mp3iffy it WORKS just google mp3iffy.

  • @waglagon711 exactly what i thought!

  • The verse's of this song sound EXACTLY like Love Spit Love "Am I Wrong". Total rip.

  • @waglagon711 true, but what you'll find is that he actually modified it when he released it with Universal Studios in 2003, this is just the original version that from 1998, but not the most recent. I'm not exactly sure why he changed it, but possibly because of this reason

  • @waglagon711

I think you're referring to the tune, not the verse or the lyrics. There are thousands of songs that has the same tune and chords but you cannot tell that this song is a rip-off.

Same tune, different lyrics, not really a rip-off bro. Peace out. :]

  • @ElzyElz I am referring to the relationship between the melody and chord progression. I know there are many many songs that use the same progression. The melody (vocal) line is basically identical to Love Spit Love, which like the other comment said is probably why he changed it. LIsten to the first 30 seconds of each song again and then see if you still don't think it's a rip-off.

  • @waglagon711

If this is a rip-off then Richard Butler should have filed a lawsuit against Matt Nathanson... I like Love Spit Love's Am i Wrong and Matt Nathanson's Bent [even the cover of Brand New's Am I Wrong] but i mean, no one can own a chord, a note or even a melody or the progression, everybody has a choice bro so you cannot really tell that this is a rip-off. To end this up, it was just a coincidence... thanks man. Godbless.

  • @waglagon711

honestly? lmao chords are chords, they are just recycled. for these artists that use the same chords, just listen to the lyrics, harmonies, and unique additions that create differences in each artists music.

  • @hcosmob well the melody is the biggest thing that stands out, and it is so similar one of the other commenters said that is why Matt Nathanson changed it for the Universal Studios release. It's note for note the same, go to a piano and play it for yourself.

  • @waglagon711 i know right. Love spit love's is way better anyway

  • @waglagon711 Thats what i was thinking!!! lol
