  • how many frames is this cycle??

  • Pretty smooth, but I do agree with the angry walk opinion. It's weird, you have to completely eliminate the passing pose where the foot touches the ground. Did you do your Motion blur in AE? (good stuff!)

  • superb!!!

  • Ha ha! That's awesome! Little more speed and he is Sonic the Hedgehog

  • xD

  • this looks great my friend. keep up the good work. reminds me a little the way shaggy from scooby doo ran.

  • Hahahaha, can you make a real animation ?

  • I'm having a problem in animation. i already have the character and the bone but when i parent it the body does not move with the bone..plzz help. i'm using blender 2.58a which i downloaded in blender.org.

  • I like the flexibliry in the arms and wrists very nice. Although it looks more like a 'silly' march than a run cycle. Great work though : )

  • @Articoos argument for both feet of the ground is valid, but the most important thing about an animation is emotion, and this has plenty of it to go around. Also, commenting on a stylized piece of animation work by comparing it to realism? Really? How many times have you seen a Coyote carry an ACME kit, or fall into a canyon and survive, or laugh, or paint a tunnel on a piece of rock and a train running out of it? Geeez....

  • This is damn good !!! :D

  • beautiful job

  • its ultra smooth really

  • looks like hes running to take a shit lmfao

  • lololololololol

  • hows it look from the front and 3/4 ?

  • how do u get the motion blur?

  • @.@

  • This is nice. Good snappy feel to the limbs and the wave action in the back works well.

  • whoever hes walking towards is gonna get whipped!

  • amazing, really fluid!:D

  • That's what I'm like in Gym class.

  • good work

  • he looks angry, better not stand in his way lol^^

  • Reminds me of how people move on Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

  • How do you get those dolls for 3ds max or maya?

  • @RobbySockz The rigs are only available to people who are enrolled in the Animation Mentor Online School.

  • @RobbySockz go to creative crash (dot) com

  • MOTION BLUR MAKES IT INTENSE

  • not if you take him off the ground a few inches

  • To me it looks more like an angry walkcycle than a run cycle...maybe more lift when he's off the ground and a bit more squash on the ground? Right now it's hard to tell that he goes off the ground...good job though!

  • @magiciandude Have you ever seen anyone lean that far forward while walking?

  • @Articoos Nope, but that doesn't change the fact that when you run, you lift off of the ground...both feet. Right now it looks like an angry exaggerated walk.

Also, just for the record, I haven't seen anyone lean that far forward while running either O.o

  • stealing this lol jk or am i?

  • whats his name?

  • Amazing

  • he looks funny :3

  • its nice....

  • nice and smooth run cycle...where did you get the reference...

  • nice one!

  • good job

  • great work!

  • made in blender?

  • MOTION BLUR??

    nice! :)

  • BEAUTIFUL!!

  • AMAZING.....

  • Nice work man!!

  • I think it would look better if you stretch out to leg to have the heel contact the ground on that pose, instead of having it just off the ground

Like commented before, it looks floating and without weight.

  • great!

  • good job!

  • pretty nice but I think it would work better if the front foot posted firmly on the ground before heading backwards, right now it's kinda like he's running on air :/ good overall though

  • WOW! THIS IS A NICE RUN CYCLE!

  • DUDE!! THIS GUY IS GOOD!!

  • Wow, this run-cycle is really, really good!! Kudos!
