Yes it is fake. Just by looking at a few things, knowing some physics and of course watching mythbusters =P, you'll notice some things that aren't physically possible.

For one, he almost looked like he accelerated when he went off the jump. I'm not a physics major, but i would think that friction and gravity would slow you down. Also, to have flown that far and fast into a tiny pool like that, You would think that he would have busted the pool open. I dunno thats just me.

@heberzub Mythbusters had no idea how to test this stunt. They thought they measured the angle going down the slide, the length of the slide , the angle of the trajectory . THEY WERE ALL WRONG !!! Awesome editing in this video. However you needed to remember that physics never lies.... The resulting splash in the pool goes straight up, however with the trajectory and horizontal velocity there should have been a significant splash to the right. However the splash just went straight up. indicating that the video is not real.

Actually, he spread his body out when he hit the water to dissipate the pressure so it wouldn't hurt and he would be safe. The group also found the math needed to figure the correct angle of the ramp and speed needed, totally real. My CP algebra teacher showed this to the class and explained it today.

There would have to be ample water to lubricate that slide (especially considering the slide is on an incline). There is NO WAY that 2 little buckets of water dumped on the slide before the guy gets on is enough to lubricate the whole slide! Even if there was hoses at the top lubricating the slide, there would be a massive puddle at the bottom of the arch (where the slide starts to go back up). You would have seen a large splash or something!!! don't believe everything you see kids! ITS FAKE
