@TheCoCoCoCoable well it was 1979, so i dont think it was classed as a bad thing back then, but she was a significant doll because she was the first African American barbie, she has African american friends in the past, but for barbie her self to actually be african american it was a big thing....mattel did a reproduction of her last year
lol i understand.. are they wearing some of them their original outfits? or do you think they were replacements, must be hard to keep them all neat after so long, i collect dolls and i had several of the 80s ones as a child, but my mommmm gave them away to charity when I moved .. grrr.
I like your videos and your 80's collection is pretty cool, only thing I didn't like was the the deboxed version didnt have names to remember which ones are they, I did have a collection some time ago from the 80's and picked up several but would have been great to have a small label or so telling which ones are they, other than that your video and sound and dolls are awesome!!!!
some of the beboxed dolls are just wearing various fashions and i dont know their original names....some of theme were found at yard sales and they were nude...
I LOVE the 80's Barbie dolls. I have a collection, too. I ordered the Peaches and Cream Barbie reproduction just today. Your collection is great!!! :)
I had a lot of those when I was a girl. Crystal Barbie was my favorite. Although I tried to take good care of them, they were definitely in played-with condition!
