i actually saw them perform this in person and it was amazing better than this video. if you ever get a chance try to go to the urban word competition at the apollo in new york. its really good. thats where i saw them but i also saw them before they did this poem. because of the competition.

this poem was amazing, i dont leave comments but i had to for this poem hits home. its hard to be homosexual but as a lesbian thats proud to be one, i wish somebody would try to gay bash on me my friends stranger or my girlfriend. we are human. society should focus there energy on ACTUAL crimes like rape, abuse, drug use, and murder because the last time i checked love wasnt a crime.

its really self explanatory. society usually relates a man switching his hips with homosexuality. they use this stereotype as a guide thru their poetic story of a black gay man's struggles. then turn to a tribute to mathew shephard and rashawn brazzell, 2 gay males who's deaths (as a result of them being gay bashed) became nationwide news.
