the american version is still good. Idk where ur from, but that stuff does happen, not a a daily basis but on an every other day basis. we do face this kind of drama, it looks reallly dumb but it does happen, in california at least

I'm American and I totally think the Skins version they're showing here doesn't measure up to the BBC one. And though our country is wasted, I still don't think American teens face all of these situations on a daily basis. The majority of the kids in my community still compete as athletes, and go on to college, etc. But being a teen means being dramatic and that brings MTV the big bucks I guess. I won't be watching it.

@STEVENbigblack Skins is really realistic... I get into situations like that alot. Of course it's not as dramatic, but me (being a teenager) still has been around drugs, had mental friends, almost died, had friends that have died, have close friends that deal drugs, go to clubs and sneak in, have had a "gang" hate me before, etc. etc. Of course, I'm that bad, I don't do the drugs I have been around alot.

@muffinlove23 Yeah, I'm in high school. lol. I know this shit happens, but the majority of skins, like being stalked in the forrest and having a man who wants to kill you become your teacher, was made just for entertainment. Nonetheless, Skins is one of the best tv shows out there.
