Nope, Im saying I work my butt off to get what I want. I go to work 70-105 hours per week to afford my life style. And planes my friend are quite affordable in todays market. I bought my 172 for $22,000 and my Apache for $20,000 from my dad. So does that make me a spoiled brat? I think not.
if you actually work that man hours, then damn dude, your still nuts lol :) but if that is the case apologies for naming you a spoiled brat.. Just so used to seeing bragging little assholes now days i just assume a 19 year old that has his own airplanes fits in that bracket.
One question, how the hell does a person wok 70-105hrs a week?? You would never have time to play with all the toys you busted your ass for.
Dude, don't get married yet. You have your whole life ahead of you!!!!! Play with planes and cars and girls!!!!! Take a long trip in a King Air or something just don't get married yet!! Take it from an old bastard who was once young and ambitious!!!
I had a fiance for a year...... She left me because I work to much, who would have thought?
Oh well there are more fish in the sea.
I will take your advice.
Aviation is a obsession Im not willing to give up.
I just cant believe how cheap planes are going for, a friend of mine bought a Piper Warrior in Rochester, NY for a mere $8,000 and he flew it home! It looks horrible but a scratch and paint is cheap.
RE: xxuncexx, I would actually like to start an aviation business salvaging aircraft that fall victim to hurricanes, wind storms, sitting for years, and so on, by fixing, or parting them out. The market is not doing to well for the ole Cessnas and Pipers, its an opportune time to start growing an inventory.
RE: Ultramarine998, regarding the selling price for a Lancair 360, early 90s can be found for $80,000-$120,000.
I love IV-P's! I've worked on many of em coming out of the Lancair factory here in Redmond. The turbines really kick some butt! Can't beat 320 knots in a 4 place aircraft!
sounded great !

Its ok, it is very crazy. sleep is very limited. I graduated at 17 and found a great career oppertunity that paid off.
I dont have much time for toys, my fiance, or friends but thats why I love vacation days so much. Haha

This is at Hicks (T67). There's an outfit there that builds them. One of my pipeline patrol pilots used to be based there.
