  • I just thought I'd share this. My name means "pure" and "tortured", just as fire can be a good thing (keeping warmth, food, etc.) but also it can destroy lives and structures within minutes. I am a Saggitarius, which is fire. I have always been drawn to fire, intrigued by its light and warmth. However, I am afraid of it when it destroys and works out of control. My element is fire, and it has been since I was young.

  • another positive outlet could also be lovemakin

  • TRUE! :-D

  • In aboriginal culture, fire was one of our most important elements.

It would keep us warm, it allowed us to cook food, it gave us light and kept dangerous animals at bay.

The elders would always tell us kids how important it was to burn off the old scrub every year or so before summer to prevent wild fires and to clear off old dead vegetation allowing the new generation to grow.

There are even some plants which will not drop their seeds until after a fire...

  • Yeah, Australia as a continent I think resonates very deeply with the element of fire, and the fact that many plants here cannot reproduce without it really is something that makes our country unique. I'm really glad to have you back Joker and that you are enjoying this series of videos :-)

  • Fire is pure energy and power:

If controlled fire's energy allows us to do impossible things, power our cars or leave the planet...

But in the wrong hands, fire destroys...

it consumes air to feed itself, it can melt the earth and evaporate water.

yet if earth stands firm it can smother fire, If air and if water surrounds fire it absorbs its energy and puts it out.

fire can take away, but it can also cleanse, ridding the world of the old and creating new fertile soil...

  • Thank you for this video. As a youth, great pleasure was obtained on a camping trip by making a fire, and simply quietly staring at it for long periods of time.

  • Fire was always my favourite element as a child and teenager :-)

  • Not a lot of things are more relaxing than sitting in front of a fire & staring at it.

    I am weird?

  • Nope :-)

  • Look at my channel icon then try and say that!

    ;-)

  • You look perfectly normal to me LOL, but then some might say I am rather weird myself! ha ha ha

  • @TheVeganicWitch like you, i'd rather be weird and happy than "normal" and broken spirited ;)

  • Fire is fascinating. Even for animals. The other day I light a candle and Lola (my kitty) couldn't stay away from it. She wanted to smell it, touch it, I had to put her away from it.

  • Ha ha ha, they are supposed to be scared of it LOL

  • I know what you mean. I can't light candles because of Kitty(my kitty)(original, huh?).

Most of the time he just pulled the candle over, but last time, he singed a whisker abit & it went 90 degrees of the others. Looked funny as hell.

  • Beautimous. :D

  • I LOVE SYMBOLOGY! It is so awesome. It is our most natural and universal form of communication. The Tarot, now used as a divination tool was intially apparently a tool for communication.

  • I also love symbology .. it is the core for all writing systems we have today.. right now I am using Latin alphabet and all the letters symbolises a sound. To the might of looking into art and see a deep symbol in them. To music and everything to the great abstract. To a great poem to all the colours

    SYMBOLOGY RULES!

All love and respect from Jasmine :)

  • The relations are called Correspondences in occult speak. It is like how gold represents the sun and silver the moon. I don't actually think that gold IS the sun etc. I can actually think about my spiritual beliefs in purely psycological terms, and I do believe that many of the symbols etc that I use are like psychological 'keys' which allow me to put myself into different mind states :-)

  • Thanks Sapps :-) Strangely I was thinking a little about atheism when I made these videos, mainly about how no religious framework is needed to be in awe of, and in love with, nature.

All the elements have a season attributed to them in the Classical system: Winter is Water, Spring is Air and Autumn is Earth :-)
