Blitz can be so violent sometimes, especially in end games where nobody has time ... So fast, it's like they're fighting. I think too that blitz chess should be better with time increase each move.
hilarious! I think we have all been there (who play blitz). Other than knocking pieces over and hitting the clock (happens several times early but does not effect play), I think the first real infraction takes place at 1:20 when black uses two hands to play. He captures the knight with the left hand, moves his piece with the right and hits clock with the right hand. White could claim a win there I think. As for the madness at 1:55 there is plenty of illegal stuff -- glad it ended in a draw.
(Pt3) In fact I've rewatched the final part White's King was never removed however as was said if Black had after warning kept on misplacing pieces I would quite readily default him.
(First half of msg) The arbiter if it was excessive (I feel it was) should stop the game and warn Black for persistently playing with two hands, in contravention of the rules and also unsportingly. He should award the white player a time compensation if he feels it has been disturbing, then play would continue. (This judgement is clearly borderline anyways though as interference in a game should be minimal for blitz, and should never bring the game into disrepute.)
Then if the Arbiter (who it seems was not present or acted too slowly) if present should clearly do something as Black destroys the position and does not attempt to reset. White's King is not on the board at the end and King capture being illegal, and King removal and non-replacement being the same, I would default Black.
I hate pieces like those. They are way too light for blitz games. And when they are playing in M-group for the title its just sick that pieces decide the outcome.
