actually i think what he wanted to point out when he made that comment about his parent's ethnicity, was because the song he was about to sing has a latin beat. So, he just wanted to let it be clear what he was. It's funny i love El soooo much, and just recently found out that my middle son could be his son (El Jr.) twin! I guess it could be cause we have the same mixture of races-Black,Indian,and Italian-lol!

To clear it up: He was dancing and singing "The Rhythm of the Night" when he said, " My daddy white, but my mamma black" . It simply meant that he has rhythm. It was not meant to be offensive, it was a compliment to his mom for giving him rhythm. Regardless of what anybody thinks, it's his mamma and his daddy. Hence he can say whatever he wants to about them. Again it was meant to be a funny compliment. You guys need to learn how to take a joke, laugh and move on. He brings so much joy!

So glad God isn't like man! Many people judge, and are very negative, but I commend El cause it's been a long and painful road for him. I'm sure he's suffered many consequences for his actions, and choices he made. Some weaker people might have given up or been taken under, but by God's grace he is once again sharing his special gift with the world. Thank God for 2nd and 3rd, 4th...chances for not only El, but all of us!

in case you didn't read, El did a recent Jet interview that I believe came out today. He admits to have 11 biological kids and 1 he accepts as his own (so 12 kids). He too is trying to reconnect and have made all but 2 (I think from his ex who remarried and whose new husband adopted the kids and gave them their names). He's been clean or sober for 2 years. So it seems he's really trying ya'll! Now stay away from those Georgia peaches and Magic City!! Retire your players/pimp card! lol
