  • this song was actually made in 1958 the original on ruler 900/1, the composition is owned by lawn music ,which owns ruler label . the original copyright owner is lawn music company 4008 s. ellis ave. the composition was wrote by joe brown music and willie cobbs in 1958 joe brown released it again dubbing in the guitar with sammy lawhorn . the original houseband was rico collins tenor sax ,eddie boyd piano, sammy lawhorn , and eddie king , guitar , drummers wilbert harris , or fred below

  • this is the original version you dont love me its one of the top blues records in the world. this song has been covered by the allman brothers,riahnna, dawn penn,eve, ike and tina turner, albert king ,mase and sean combs,and so many more. the record label is RULER started by joe brown in 1958,the only artist to record on the ruler label was willie c cobbs,side (b) of you dont love me is slow down baby you can hear JOE BROWNS voice in the beginning of one of his signature songs.

  • @lawnmusic1947 What's the version which I always hear dj's at rockabilly events play? It's a really early recording with wobbly bluesy guitar but the whole song is a lot faster than this..

  • @Nekroguitar The Version you hear at rockabilly clubs is by Jay Swan. Sounds much later. Hope that helps
