I wrote this song for Polly after seeing you on TV . I lived a mile from Nevada City ,California but only received 4 stations = NBC,ABC,CBS and PBS.I watched you a lot as you were very vivid in presenting Polly's case.I saw you almost every day .I would like to tell you how helpful Rodger Hodgson was as he recorded it in his studio au grautis ! I just finished reading the book "polly klass - the murdeder that broke our hearts" and i really want u to know i feel sorry..For what i read this girl was an angel..and she was brutely killed by this man...i wish there was more people like u because many people would had broke down if a man killed his daughter...but u fought back and showed this man that what he did was not going to destroy u....

I was 13 when I saw her face on the pages. Parents talked about safety forever. I felt sad: worse when the news come out about the loss of Polly.

I turned 16 on June 18th, the day the "Legal Process" ended. It was weird because even today I will never forget the name, the news, and the images.

I applaud Marc Klaas' work, I commend his efforts, and we all should be respectful of the loss of Polly Klaas. Truly, people... this is the fight.

The best way to protect children from sexual preditors is to start viewing predatory pedophilia as the disease that it is, instead of as a crime. While all of us find the actions of Richard Allen Davis and his ilk abhorrent, we as a society gain nothing by locking these men up and throwing away the key. I certainly hope this project will spark something in men. The profile of a sexual offender is a straight, white male so maybe it takes one to teach the rest. Women all over the country lobby to end this abuse and I really haven't seen that much publicity for them. The straight white male who connects with Dateline has gotten soo much coverage and I know that hundreds of women do the same thing as him.
