Discworld ScummVM Music Enhancement Project Preview

Well, I'm using the latest ScummVM SVN, I put all the high-quality .ogg tracks in the directory (Discworld 1 CD/DOS v2) and opened scummvm, over-ride audio settings, two of the three are on default, sampling is on 44KHz, and it still doesn't work.

I like the english version of this game. It's much better than the german one. All the jokes are much funnier and it sounds more authentic with the british accent.

@Trexmaster12 Make sure Discworld is on the hard drive and put the music files in the same directory as the Discworld game data. If you need further help, please post on the article on my blog (link in description).

bugger it... there is a bug in act 4 in the scummvm version. mambo wont fire up when u put the firecracker in him, and the dragon that is supposed to be in the town square, is in the barn! cant finish the game! =(

Too bad the game only represents the silly bits of the novels without any of the intelligence that went with them.

Bullshit. The game is definitely the best adaption of Discworld so far. Although it feels more like watching a Monty Python film than reading a Discworld novel

no offense to the original composers, but the music in this game isn't THAT great that it demands an enhanced version. in fact, i found it quite repetitive and almost annoying at some parts. If they wanted to enhanced a soundtrack they should've remade 'Monkey island 2''s OST (altho i know it's impossible because of IMuse, but still, it's something worthy of a remake)
