  • This is the best version ive lisend to on youtube.

You have such feeling in your music and you put such feeling into the tunes.

your putting even us Irish to shame well done

would love to have a tune with you one day

  • please tell me the website where I can get the notes for tin whistle in D

  • ... tell me or show me where in I can see the notes or lyrics of this beautiful song ... please

    ...

  • I've seen a lot stuff from u before..

and in my mind this is the most beautiful vid you EVER made ma friend! please keep up the great work!

    best regards from Germany! =)

  • Hello there, just wanted to let you know how much I love your playing :P. I am trying to learn the tin whistle too, and your videos have been a great inspiration too me. So, thanks. Really, from my heart. Thanks.

  • yes well, like the notes of a D whistle will be the same on a D low whistle. and a C whistle will be the same on a low c whistle and so on.

  • are the notes on the tin whistle the same as the low whistle???thinkin of learning it??

  • The notes are the same. A tin whistle player can play at the same time as a low whistle player and they are doing exactly the same with the fingers. But the low whistle is harder to play because is much bigger that the tin whistle.

  • One of my favorite YouTube videos, TinWhistler. I love this song. Beautifully played! I have that same Susato whistle. It's quite loud, but very responsive and clear-sounding.

  • Man, you guys are good! How do you get the sound to be so clear?

  • simply beautiful. your sound is amazing.

  • I noticed you have changed so much and are a very hansome young man now!

  • Hey Handsome!

Well i'm back! Wanted to learn this song again after the last time I recorded it and noticed you've got me in your video description! I am sorry that I dont have that video up anymore. Maybe i'll post a new one with my irish flute I just bought.I am going to watch your newer video's too. I haven't played for ages and ages but want to get back into it again. Your an inspiration and a REALLY talented player!

  • Hey pretty, thanks!

Yeah you should make another one and I'll replace the link. Show us the flute!

  • c'mere me Feadog D, time to play !

    Totally Inspired : D

  • Nice tune and you play very well!! 5 stars to you!

  • WOW!!!!! u guys r AWSOME!!!

  • Goodnes this is great, You Guys aut to be peaing with the big boys. I have been checking publications to find the sheet music for this tune any Ideas as to where I can get a copy of this.

  • Sweet, You Guys are great. : 0 )

  • Never heard this tune before...I like it! Good job, even the "messy" middle! ;)

  • oh this music remmember me of the fields and green hills,,,so nice music

  • excellent job. is that a susato you are playing?

  • gorgeous, i love this

  • WOW

  • I discovered some harmonies for this tune you recorded

  • where do youg get the tabs or how do you get the songs?

  • You guys are awesome!

  • Great playing!

    Just carry so!

  • what brand whistle is that??

  • is it easy to self lern with an clarke penny whistle d?

  • I started with a cheap whistle a no-name brand, i got a better one when i was sure it was something i wanted to do

  • I have a clarke penny whistl in the key of c, and I think very highly of it. The only problems with it is that it takes more air to make a good sound and it's sound isn't as...um...brassy...clear...shrill. Hope this helps!

  • Tin whistle is extremely easy to learn, and extremely fun too. I would recommend it to anyone.

  • just..so...good.. =O

  • i used to be pretty decent on the tin whistle but i havent played in a long time so i probably dont have and skill with anymore

  • ein go bragh

  • Super job on an old favorite!

Thanks, boys, for making my St. Patrick's Day weekend begin so beautifully.

  • Genial! Música con gra poder de evocación. No puedo evitar el recuerdo de El Esclavo, de Isaac Bashevis Singer. Gracias, excelente vuestro trabajo. Dios bendiga esas manos.

  • very nice!

  • nothing wrong in the middle and get a new guitar please!!

  • its not that its a bad guitar, you just have to get used the the mix of steel/nylon strings with open chords, as most people are used to acoustic/electric guitars with steel strings.

  • tout simplement génial ;)

  • Yoo...go...realy nice..

  • viva espana!! agus EIRE!!

  • An Spáinne agus Éire go bragh mo chara!!!

  • just feel the celtic blood in spain ;)

  • ur so talented..

  • your good !!! i'm so jalous

  • the guitarist isn't fantastic at guitar, but still, nice work.

  • yeah he is...he's played in a few other videos.

  • Nothing wrong w/ your vids, or your playing...but your guitarist needs to get a real guitar...and work on his picking. The cheap 1/2 scale guitar sounds terrible, and he looks like he struggles just to hit the right strings :\

  • Aw c'mon. It's his younger brother. Why can't you just relish the fact that these two brothers from Mallorca, Spain are fascinated with CELTIC music. Watch their other videos and you will see the young guitarist getting better and better with each video. Plus, he is a great percussionist too!

  • are u irish?

  • I believe he is Spanish, Galician maybe....

  • i like it

  • I really liked it!

  • I miss Ireland... 11 years since visit...must go back!

  • Great playing! Both of you, keep it up!

  • gorgeous, my bff would love this, and not just because she's irish

  • hey mate, hows it goin? i left a video response to this tune, hope u like it, im playing along with ur recording, speak to u on msn.

  • Even if the chords are made up, the tin whistle takes that all away...PLEASE tell me you have tabs for the whistle part!!

  • Just a bit of the air but still very pleasant, maith thu, from Armagh Ireland.

  • I have figured out why your version of this song is so great to listen to. It's because you hear it (meaning the listener) with your heart and not your ears. The emotion is sprinkled through the song in a wonderful way. (except maybe at about 1:15, LOL, a tiny mess up, but by 1:17 it's back to perfect). I really enjoy that song alot. Thanks for posting!!!

  • PJ

Love it! Have heard Cathy of Dervish sing that so many times. Great song. You're an amazing whistle player. If Dervish ever need another whistle player - they need to give you a call
