I love Japanese fashion and the pop culture so much and even dream to live in Japan and I am very much like the Japanese teenagers myself! However it makes me sad that I am unable to be able to party and make many friends like me at clubs and in Harajuku. To the end where it says they get to live their few years of youth to the extreme and beginning adulthood really makes me sad because I am very deprived and unable to live an extreme fun youthful life. I sometimes worry how it will be for me.

Though there are a few misconceptions, overall I think this is a great documentary about Japanese youth involved in popular culture. Though I'm surprised they didn't talk about how Japanese dance clubs have actually little to no drugs involved, unlike here in the States. I also wish they would have clarified that lolita (gothic lolita is only a subset) is not in any way cosplay, a costume of any sort. Some anime and manga characters wear the style, but lolita's aren't trying for that.
@AnimeSpazz2234 I know, I'm fortunate enough that I will be taking a trip to Osaka for a month in May. After that I'm not sure, I might be able to study abroad. if not I will make a trip and teach there in 3.5 years.
Dood you would not be saying that if you lived here...heres NOTHING to do...luckily im moving to ATL maybe theres more night life there. but o course wont compare to Tokyo =D
Many young Japanese have been forced to live own life under very severe social and economic environment due to a long time economic recession caused by idiot former generations. In this sense, they're poor casualties of them, so they can't live without the moment in which they can leave their anxiety and worry behind. For foreign viewers who dont know their poor situations, they seem to live their life freely and excitingly, but they are confined to severe reality.
i think the opening song is "Magic Music" by Kimura Kaela
