  • Will worms eat chicken poop?

  • mine seems to not be broken down all the way I think I need more worms and maybe sift with a 1/8 screen of so.

  • Where did you get that cool metal box? Send me an email if you would. THX!

  • I didn't know Geroge Bush Jnr was a worm farmer

  • So that's what those metal boxes are used for on the back of pick up trucks, I always thought they were for tools.

  • is this the guy that runs incle jims worm farm

  • I moved my worms to the garage a couple of days after the temperature dropped below 40, but I don't think it was necessary. Red Wigglers are pretty hardy and extremely prolific when they are happy. Make your worms happy and they will return the favor ten fold. Promote Global Worming!

  • it looks like mud too me m8

  • "maybe sometime or another roadkill"...lol

  • I use cardboard and newpapers mixed in the dirt and they eat it up like a Dog and grow big. Saw dust is good too. Anything wood they love.

  • Will the ink in the shredded paper hurt them?

I am new to this so it might sound bit silly.

Do you ever remove the worms and clean out the old bedding?

What temp do you find is best all yr round for best worm breeding? My objective is just to raise fishing worms for my grandfather in plastic bin in garage or extra room in house if they need it cooler(Florida). Thanks

  • I use an old deep freezer that is broken down. I don't do anything to it. The top soil is moist and full of nutrients.

I mix up saw dust cardboard and newspaper and pour it in there and they come up and chow down. The ink does not hurt them. My deep freezer is in the shed and it never freezes up in the winter. They like it in there. I have worms all year long.

  • Great thanks for the info as preparing my large bin going to add cardboard from boxes, etc -saw dust and newspaper

  • I grew up in shortsville and I think it is so important to educate people but especially farmers about the amazing benefits of E.C.. I am an organic gardener and I can not express how benificial it is to our depleated soil. Keep up the GREAT work!!!

  • "uh...fucking food scraps" lol

  • He likes worm poop as much as I do, I think. Throw away your chemicals, use worm poop.
