Oh my goodness...the voice of an angel. Her singing is so affecting I can only listen (and watch) every once in a while.

As odd as this may sound (in this context), no wonder opera was Louis Armstrong's next most-favourite music. He made a point of listening regularly to his collection, and its influence is heard - as here - in many of his soaring, artful solos.

Several minutes after listening to this magic I am still moved. What a gift.

Malgré des a priori - encore une version - voix hyper-lyrique pour répertoire baroque - tempo hyper lent - chef visuellement peu meneur, j'ai beaucoup aimé ça! - beauté vocale - coherence d'interpréstation instruments-voix - un bon goût d'ornémentation (sauf le dernier aigu, peut-être) - superbe continuité de phrasé par les instruments. Bravo.

Permettez moi de vous demander , même si je m'en doute un peu, qu'appelez vous une voix Hyper lyrique?Sachant que dans son traité de chant Rameau lui même ne parle quasiment que de puissance et dévelopement de la voix! Je crois que les certitudes que l'on a sur l'esthétique baroque mértitent d'être remisent souvent en cause, le tempo lui est terriblement lent, je le concède!
