This game, as far as I'm concerned, is sort of taboo to Metal Gear Solid fans. Many fans hate this game, whilst others love it. I guess, it's pretty much like theMGS series as well. You either love it or hate it, there's no room for indecisiveness.

I personally find its cutscenes tottaly unrealistic, compared to both MGS for PSOne and for general wittiness. But hell, do I love it as well!

I knew deep down the cutscenes had the makings of an awesome trailer. Completely different from the Playstation version. I mean, Snake jumping into the air and kicking off the top of a missile firing at him so he could use a higher jump in which he can properly aim and fire a stinger missile in mid air in the same jump at the Hind to take it out? Completely unrealistic but holy fuck do I love the Twin Snakes cutscenes better.

For all the people who wanted this in the HD collection, It was not made by Konami so i doubt they have the right to put it in the HD Collection. Also for regular MGS1, The PS3 and Xbox 360 have enhanced audio so you would have picked up backround noise because their recording studio was a makeshift apartment, You would have heard all the cars passing by. They would have to emulate a PS1 which would have been to much trouble. And to top it off Pre rendered graphics can't be updated to HD

@SionArtwork But the point is MGS didn't need a remake! Sure they added new moves from MGS2 and such, but they were poorly implemented and felt superfluous. They also replaced Kojima's subtle direction style with ridiculous over the top action sequences, seemingly catering for an audience that suffers from acute ADHD! The graphics were only marginally better than the original.

@SionArtwork Saying something is 'good' because there are no inferior alternatives is completely flawed. But I will say if something is far from broke, why bother to fix it in the first place? Yeah, they added MGS2 gameplay, but first person shoot mode and the hang/shimmy feature weren't necessary at all to complete the game this time, ergo - they felt tacked on. Okay, the graphics were okay, but the models themselves were lifeless, and in some cases looked retarded (Raven anyone).
