@123willb also if theres a gain setting on the phono to line make sure its not up to high as well. I would suggest this, its all in one includes a phono pre amp at htfr dot com, the item is MR222580. Two of them work great with xwax and a pair of timecode vinyl's (serato) but thats a wholenother thing.

@EternalJunglist Well atleast you are beat matching unlike alot of djs. Some of them were off, but you can't always get them exact, I think they were matched, just not lined up, you have to learn the vinyl like its instrument. Good use of effects, my mixers only a cheapy kam. are those 1210's? your lucky and probably broke because of them, the torque of a good pair of decks would be good to have. Im having some trouble with my audio being destorted. Im using a phono to line in and using mp3mymp3 software. Do I need the record volume high and the gain on the mixer low?
@123willb. Just make sure when your recording it that the lights on your mixer arent flashing in the red. its not that bad if it only slightly flashes in the red every now and then but dont push the trim levels too high. get your trim levels so that its peaking at the top of the orange lights. your program will be recording what comes out the mixer so if it is flashing red turn things down a bit this should stop the distorted recording.
