Theres toyota's and nissans legendary I6's which you can get tremendous power out of aswell. (supra & skyline) And yes i know theres faster cars out there, But i would take my 220hp German engine over a lot of japanese engines with significantly more power. You get so much with a Bmw. The people you meet at cruises.

I live 7 minutes from mosport and i visit there all the time, i've seen very fast skylines and i've gone on the track as a passenger in a few cars. And I'd have to say that my favourite was a BMW = Ultimate Driving Machine

im only 15 but i would say first go with the good turbos i suggest turbonetics but u can choose. for all the parts turbos intercooler turbo down pipe turbo exaust manifold ect... i would say 6-7k depending on turbo's u are planning on using. depending on the psi u put through the engine is the ammount of hp u will increase by and also the torque band will be pretty good because its a twin turbo is it a 4-5 or 6 cyl ?

Why's that a poor torque curve? It simply has torque where you need it: if you want to go fast you usually have over 5000 rpm and at the really high revs it's more important to have power. I guess it could have a little more torque at very high revs, but it's not that important and it would mean setting up the boost controller differently and you'd lose mid-range torque.

Anyone know what turbo that could be? Seems awfully small for 1000HP worth of flow. The piping, intercooling, etc looks rather pedestrian and not able to support that much power. Fuel system looks nice though.
