@ssbfan99 Well as far as Dungeons and Dragons goes - you can create your own character. As far as this board game, you don't create your own character.

@ssbfan99 With the D&D boardgames you used pre-gen characters but I believe if you own the different versions you can mix and match powers to simulate making your own character.

@KeithPsychosis maybe in your little world its Drizz It but everyone else either says it as Drist, or sometimes Dritts (t sound before the s). apparently the latter is how Salvatore says it, not sure why and whether thats correct according to Drow words or he just wants to be different.

forgive these questions...But when they say "if the enemy is Adjacent to your hero move him ect. Does adjacent meant straight line including Diagonal. And does this apply if the hero is a tile or so away.

also.... If you and a friend are playing and there is an enemy you did not kill...is it your friends turn "hero phase" or does the enemy strike first like it does when it was first put on the board?

Any help would clear things up..thanks and sorry for noob questions. I just wanna play right.

dumb question: Are this and Wrath of Ashardalon compatible with each other? In that I mean, can I use characters from Wrath of Ashardalon and play them in legend of drizzt? or are the board games not set up this way?

@Runny452 I've played both CR and WOA, and they are both compatible with each other, they were designed to be compatable. I can't wait to get LOD so we can have an 18 hero adventure (we have house rules to deal with 18 heroes)

Wizards of the Coast sucks. D&D went corporate HARD. This game is no better today in version 5.0 or whatever they are at (I don't keep up) than it was in 1977. This crap is just constanty tweaked now so that you have to go out and buy a shitload of new shit to keep up with the new shit every few years.... clever. I will stick to my 1978 books, thankyou.

@kidballistic Yep it got much better. I never played those 1st editions (though read the books and use some parts of it still), starting with AD&D 2d. D&D 4E is way better. For me. For it may not be so. But knowing nothing about the game you start spitting nonsense about EVIL WOTC MARKETING PLOT which gotten old long ago. So you point worth northing.
