This is cool to see the place and maybe some of the guys that made my 1943 Herringbone. They looked kinda old so maybe they weren't taken off to war. This is so cool
I was literally sitting here noodling around on my 1939 D-28 when I came across this video. I can't help but wonder if it's one of the guitars being made. So cool! Thanks for sharing.
hey eddieblaze, handling it like one of his children? With his hand round its neck!? Just kidding, it's a superb video and you're right, you can feel the pleasure and pride in every frame.
We need more luthiers and instrument makers like this!
@Goldensword - that's the very first thing I said too...hehe. I bought my D-18 back in 2008 & it wasn't $100. It wasn't a thousand either...a few of those in fact. But worth every darn cent. I LOVE my D-18!
That's just cool! Great song too!

It is kind of compelling to see this video of people making guitars when there's a World War going on at the other side of the ocean..

this is really great, this is where my vintage 1938 herringbone D-28 was made, it has the most magic tone I have ever heard ......

To see craftsmen working is always a pleasure. How many processes are now fully mechanised I wonder?.

Wow, footage from the Golden Age of Martin Guitars! Thanks for sharing!

You could see the pride in the gentleman who finished the Martin and put it in the rack. You can't hide that smile on his face, even from the side.
