Everything sounds good when you can produce it and spice up a bit. Tip: Know what register your voice sounds good in. (Johnny Cash didn't try to sing Tenor)

Very good, Sam! I like it a lot. Why not record a live video? I'd think the judges will insist on seeing you perform the song. I suggest also, to lose the echo/reverb. Go pure, unplugged, unproduced, without effects.
