Superb depiction on climate change.Nirfa has captured a glimpse on how future will shape up if we are not taking steps in keeping our world green. I hope this video is being watched by lot of folks and Nirfa keeps continuing her good work in spreading this noble message.

if its ur AC then keep a pipe to the drain first, ifs no urs then its a good work and tell all ur apartment people to do that. And more over this isnt much heart involving because, it would be very effective if u have shown the effects for this. good video but it must be extended.
dont think its discouragement but think as an encouragement to do an good short film which tell the people how to realise, and why this should not be happen.

Children do not realise that water from the AC drain is unhealthy. For them its just an act of Fun...but it is in our hands to prevent such an incident from becoming an everyday occurence caused by dire necessity due to lack of water.

The ad is trying to depict the evils of climate change. You can't expect a murder to depicted without a single mention of it, can you? Care was taken to ensure the hygienic conditions, and you can be rest assured that no kid drank contaminated water. The video portrays the idea pretty well. Seeing that you believed that the kids did drink the contaminated water is enough reason for everyone to believe that the video was well shot. Thanks for your comment.

I was of the same opinion, initially, but this video reflects on today's world and warns us of what tomorrow could be like. True that the location could have been changed for one shot to prove the point better, but it was the lack of time, I guess. One of the two days given got wasted. Met Fa when just a few hours were left for submission, and the editing was on. So there was little that could be done then. Anyway, glad that others noticed this point as well.
Thats an amazing idea guys! I already have loads done loadsa reserach on the subject and a few rough ideas on a campaign chalked out. am sure we cn pull off one amazing campaign if we put our heads together. :)

I see that you have had to delete many of the comments as things were getting dirty here. Sad that it had to happen, Fa. Anyway, I think it will make sense to have some sensible discussions here. Debates are fine as long as things don't get dirty. I noticed some debates in other videos as well. "Facts" which claim that the ice caps are not melting but the percentage of ice has gone up by over 40%! LOL! Where do people come up with such statistics from? Crazy stuff!

You should ask the kid that. Besides, don't you get the point of the video? It says that tired kids drink the water from the drain it for fun right now, but that might be the future of the world. And that we need to prevent it.
If the video DID show the future, you would have found not just a bucket but a rainwater harvesting pit under the AC! So much for your smart comment. :-p

By rating this video, you are helping her in the competition. You are not changing the world by rating this video. You motivate people to make a difference. Something which people like you sure can't achieve.
And yeah, one good thing a month for the environment? And what is that in your case? Cleaning your study table?

well, so its all abt the competition and nothing else.. good tht you have spoken the truth. i appreciate it. if there had been no competition this video would not ave been made. that shows how really ppl are concerned abt the climate.
just as a point of notice, the water coming out of the AC duct is polluted too and if that AC was turned off, these kids will run out their existing water supply also. so is the video saying we are in a catch 22 situation where we have to run the AC to get the water but still save the world?
if you were talking about pollution w.r.t to the health of humans then yes i agree it causes problems and we have to solve that. and i ve already said, thats a separate debate all together. but stop talking about global warming and as being the saviours of the earth without getting your facts right.
you with the green lobby agenda, here are some figures - the average global temperature had actually gone down by 1.2 degrees if you take a look at the trend from 1880's onwards. the highest recorded average global temperature was in 1659, much before science took a giant leap. the total green cover has gone up by as much as 35% in the last 70 years. the total carbon content in the atmosphere has gone up by 0.16% in 100 years. try to understand what global warming is before trying to prevent it.
sure its fiction. i just said read the technical papers referenced in the book. all of them are true and exist. and there is enough technology at hand today to purify sea water to make it potable. its just sad that india has not applied any of these so far. I agree that polluting the rivers is not good but thats a different debate altogether.

You still don't get the point now, do you? The way you talk, it makes me wonder if this is why global warming is forever going to be on the rise. You would rather people used techniques to purify sea water to make it potable, than cut down on global warming and save ourselves the trouble of doing several other things all together to. New technology is not bad. New technology to "improvise" things, but ending up screwing life even more is what people are hell bent on. Sad, really.
climate change has got nothing to do with our waters running dry.(if anything, climate change will increase the level of water in our rivers due to the melting of glaciers) this climate change is a process that happens every once in 6000 yrs. look at the river nile, for 65% of its travel, it is surrounded by deserts. and thats some of the worst terrain temp wise, and its still not gone dry. read michael crichtons state of fear,go through some of the technical papers mentioned there and think.

It will not be fun when all the water bodies on earth are one. Polluted, salt water is all that you will have. As for Michael Crichton, why are we quoting fiction here again? Good thought. For a young girls the idea is very encouraging and needs more research and effort in this area.
But think other way as you can see green trees and rainy floor. The background could be more dry and harsh. Then drops will matter more.
