  • Bud what happen? What makes it do this?

  • exactly.. liquid nitrogen

  • This is made possible by superconductivity and the flux trapping effect :o science yay!

  • Wwwhat? how ._.

  • what meterial is the black one?

  • Suck it, Chris Angel

  • did he use dry ice?or something else?

  • @Bargaron Looks like liquid nitrogen

  • Frozen gravity. @-@

  • She blinded me with science @_@

  • can a nerd please explain this????

    :O

  • @JPaz007 pretty sure the liquid nitrogen he poured on it made the conductivity resistance of the black magnet = 0. Somehow that makes the black magnet surround the silver one with a strong magnetic field.

  • @AreoIce the black thing is a superconductor. at low temps, it has no electrical resistance and becomes an electromagnet that repels the silver magnet

  • lets build a flying car

  • COOL

  • why don't you put your finger in that liquid? wanna try? :D

  • WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!

  • not a trick moron.... its superconductivity caused by the electromagnetic field of the magnet being set in the superconductive material. which is why it spins freely... Superconductivity occours in some materials at extreme low tempratures... another example for a super conductor would probably be Gold and Silver but as gold is unaffected by magnetic fields. unsure about silver. this will NOT work with them. the material used there is usually a compound.

  • how do they work?

  • @phenomwing Well you see, what is happening is super condactivity, when two magnetic fields repelle each other witch gives an illusion of anti-gravity. Scientsts discored that if you cool a specific ceramic like copper oxyde, it would creat a large magnetic field, that would repelle a magnetic field of a magnet. Amazing isn't it? Image the possibilities, like roads made out of this stuff and cars would float on that without using gasoline.

  • @SuperXpress2

But you would need tons and tons of liquid nitrogen, the cost of which would be immense, making most possibilities highly impractical or at least until a more cost-efficient method is found

  • :O UFO

  • Is nitrogen cold enough for this? I think it might be helium ( or did they discover room-temperature superconductors since I last looked? - yes, my room is the temperature of liquid nitrogen. I can't afford the heating.

(I expect they've moved on from niobium-titanium alloys?)

  • @aOa0a0 If your room is the temp. of the liquid nitrogen, You'd freeze to death.

  • thats awasome lol

  • what the

  • yes but will it blend?

  • @1001Lai is it a good idea to microwave this?

  • @1001Lai WHY EVERYBODY USES "hey will it blend"? or "but...Will it blend"???

What the fuuuuuuuuck is that???? where didyou get it from?? crap

  • @fransamson it's a commercial for a blender. type in at youtrube : will it blend? and you'll find it :)

  • @mike007seegers ok! thanks!!! :D

  • @fransamson idk some scient things test some things if it blend soo i think thats from where this thing started

  • @1001Lai actually it did...

  • its called the meissner effect of superconductivity! ....wiki it guys

  • YOU GOT TO SHOW NASA or whatever its called

  • @fanferbtheman this is remedial stuff...

  • YOU GOT TO SHOW NASA

  • its just garry's mod

  • GRAVITIY!!! 'o'

  • omg

  • i can see past your smokes and mirrors

  • can some one tell plz what is that spriad ;D ;D ;O ???

  • wow :P awesome!! :D :P what is that ,that he spraid?? :O

  • wow :P awesome!! :D :P

  • BURN THE WITCH !

  • black people suck

  • @implode44 what the fak are u some psych in u head??

  • Thats some serious shit

  • so thats how criss angel does it

  • Magnets lose their charge when heated up enough. *breaks out the flamethrower*

  • magnets how the fuck do they work

  • @ProBoy25 all the electrons face a certain way. thats about how much i know about them

  • I think that this could be a potential source for unlimited energy.

  • anybody knows wether superconductors are monopols or di poles?

  • ke demonios le pusiste al magneto

  • wtf

  • Belive it or not Free energy is real,But the Oil coporations life depends on covering this up,Find a motor that needs no fuel or input at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,take part in the revolution!

  • @porscheghcje

Hope he doesn't sell it to GM. hahh!

    *cough* EV1 *cough*

  • This is how Magnetic Trains works. (Trains that runs on a, or should I say over a magnetic rail)

  • Wow. As the megnet on the bottom froze over. The top one toppled over.

  • thats coil as shit o.O

  • wtf?!

  • #fail

  • Is not gravity, Is Electromagnetism...

  • @CyborgxHR your mom is electromagnetism

  • @aquaspreyas Is a family thing... Mi penis is electromagnetic...Ask your mom ;D!

  • @CyborgxHR do you know who else is electromagnetic? MY MOM!

  • uhhh... waaa

  • I scientificly concur

  • #FTW

  • @fischfreung would you rather see the whole video of the fog going away?

  • so the Black thing have magnetic properties but it needs to be cooled! so he used liquid nitrogen ..After it heats up ...the effect dissapears

  • Omg that is so cool

  • were did u buy it

  • cool make a tutorial plz

  • @legobot97 its liquid nitrogen can burn your fingers off

  • howdy, you would not want your fingertips to be frozen by the liquid nitrogen.

  • wtf

  • wht did u put in?

  • Hrm... Is that black thing a superconductor?

  • wtf0_o

  • YOU AIN'T GOT NO PANCAKE MIX

  • Looks like a ufo : )

  • Wow, cool!

  • ok, if you get the magnet to spin in a vacuum, would it ever stop?

  • Can i do this with sound magnets?

    (a serious question)

  • its a ufo!!! you copy ufo's tecnology!!

  • fuck i went to the site u put up on the link cuz i thought u sold those and it asked me if i wanted to meet single lesbians

  • im going to fuck newton in the ass

  • WTF

  • how long does it stay in the air?

  • @yo11878 As long as you keep the superconductor cold or icy.

  • woahhh!!

  • Fucking magnets, how do they work!?

  • was tht liquid nitrogen??? o.0 idk much bout this stuff

  • how the fuck!

  • they should put 2 huge magnets in the rear and front of cars ...+liquid nitrogen and that same concept could maybe create a hover car ? lol

  • @jaycedog005 my theory is that hover cars already exist, but the government would never let civilians use them, imagine the chaos!

  • yeh i know physics lol ... im just saying the vid changed .... nothing about it being fake ...

  • Liquid Nitrogen, it freezes the magnet, and some kind of constant suspended negativity goes on, mostly because of the frozen magnet. NEAT HUH? :)

  • did any1 else notice the video change at 0:22 ??

  • Even if it did this is still possible and there would be no reason to fake it

  • @jaycedog005 you're right, it did change...but maybe they just skipped ahead so the um...smoke thingy would go away? lol XD

  • pleez make a how to video on this i want to show it to my science teacher is the spray that scent stuff just like when you come out a shower water vapor spurrs out of the room. if so pleeeeeeeeez tell me how to make it

  • es nitrogeno para congelar el material y evitar que las lineas de fuerza magnetica puedan traspasarlo

  • it is fucking nice

  • fucking nice!!

  • why used the nitrogen liquid for floating ?

With only two magnets of same polarities it float !!

  • @Subliminalfeet66 This isn't simply repulsion between two magnets. This is superconductivity.

  • @GnomeAfterAll yea but they arent magnets??

  • @harrynben One of them is. The upper one is a neodymium magnet. The lower is a metal that becomes superconductive at really low temperatures.

  • @GnomeAfterAll copper perhaps?

  • @bloodmonk61 It certainly doesn't look like copper, but sure, let's call it that.

  • if you put two magnets of same polarities on top of each other it wont just float

  • yup!

  • Yea for superconductivity at low temps... I take you used liquid nitrogin as a catalyst... very cool

  • woa.. wow.. =o thats awesome! lol cool vid

  • no it doeson't you idiot

  • Yea, totally. The earth is covered in liquid nitrogen, so we stay suspended in outer space to that invisible magnet up in the sky. No dumbass, its called gravity.

  • Hmmm, thanks for enlightening me.

  • lol

  • thats cool

  • super conductor

  • One day, there will be superconductors at room temperature ... From that day, life might looks like startrek ... So many amazing things will happen when warm superconducter will be finally discovered ...

  • hhaahha nice

  • That is funny trick :) Actually, i have seen it earlier at Moscow Engineer Physical Institute' open day. But we used a special ceramics as superconductor. Could you say, what is the material of that black superconductor?

  • WTF?

  • try burning nitrogen it will make a big "crack' sound

  • that is very cold magnet, cooled with liquid nitrogen. Liquid N2 can make magnetic properties stronger. This experiment also involves electromagnetism . I know what exactly happening but I cant explain in english. Look in wiki for how electromagnetism works :)

  • Actually, the dark thing is a superconductor, at the temperature that the liquid nitrogen cools it down to. As the magnet experiences a force, such as gravity, a current is induced in the superconductor that is exactly the right size and shape to counterbalance it. Look in wiki for how superconductivity works :)

  • troll

  • it's not defeating gravity... and who said that

  • whats the smoke?

  • Liquid Nitrogen

  • No it would be too cold!

  • the smoke is just water vapour

  • no its liquid nitrogen

  • Yes it is. :D

  • doesnt liquid N increase the power of the magnetic push/pull?

  • Whoa

  • i want 1

  • one step closer to hover cars. lol

  • wow thats david copperfield style lol

  • the black disc is a superconductor and the silver a magnet, when certain materials are cooled to a low enough temperature they exhibit strange properties, so that's what the liquid nitrogen was for.

  • i just did that in class today

  • What knid of class are you in?

  • obviously a very trusted one if they let him use liquid nitrogen.

  • this is a phyescal trick

by using the liqied N gas

like it was ues in some kind of trains

  • whoa!

nice how did u do that!

    that is weird but cool

  • He pour liquid oxygen on it. Oxygen is known to be a paramagnetic molecule.

  • CO2

  • we are both wrong. Actually it's liquid nitrogen.

  • alright then, same ting!

  • WOW nooo waayy

  • how do you do that...???

  • holy shit sweet
