lol- yeah, those are the best kinds of endings..I guess...Of course some endings need to be real endings, ya know...? Like toxic relationships, or bad health spells, or airplane rides that are especially turbulent.

Or when you got a hunk-a-junk gas guzzler and no one will even buy it..not even the junkyard guy cuz the parts even suck. So I'd say the car crusher is a very good ending.

I'm such a drama queen. Hey, where you been (in terms of VH)? Did you burn out over there?

Yes, I am temporarily sort of burnt out on the video soap opera. :) Made an intro video (finally) and then sort of just disappeared, didn't I? Sometimes I spend an inordinate amount of time obsessively doing various things, get burnt out, disappear, and then re-appear with a better grasp on BALANCE. It's sort of a pattern in my life. Eventually I find the right balance of doing things and generally return to those activities that I OVER did originally and find I enjoy them more in moderation.

Well then I'm glad to still have this connection here. Balance is always a good thing. Over the past two years I've wavered in and out of balance but I'm ever closer to that middle point.

When I switch my channel to that new format, It's just blank where the videos should be.

I went to YouTube forums to ask for help and there were some people who tried, but apparently it's not happening to anyone else, so it's just a glitch on my channel.

I'm not a partner so I can't get tech help. Doesn't that suck? I'd rather start over than have to get ads on my vids just to have them fix the glitch.

It's okay though. Wasn't too active on here, and it feels like a shedding of skin.

Beau, I love the new format. In a few days, YouTube's switching everyone to it and there will be no more OLD format, apparently.

So the little glitch that only happens when I'm in the new format will pretty much mean my videos won't show up on my page. :o(

Anyhow, change is good. I did focus on my vlogging skills a bit more over on Vloggerheads but I had recently decided to be a bit more active on the Tubes, too.

I think something we do wrong is look at all the past fame and symbols of Youtube. We really should create a New Youtopia. Seriously, its been 2 years and as the internet has evolved quickly in short spans of time, so should the culture of Youtube!

We need to redefine Youtube with some form of public mishchief! and apply that to Eric's front lawn!

It's the new format that does it. I don't know why- it's some kind of a glitch. My channel right now is back to the regular (old) format but when I switch it to the new one, all my vids are gone and there's no option to get them onto the channel.

So in a few days, YouTube is switching everyone to that new format, which basically will mean my vids will be gone and I'll lose that choice to keep the old channel.

I can't get a hold of help at YouTube. They only help YouTube partners.

For some reason, my channel goes blank in the new format (except for my profile and info). In a few days, YouTube's going to switch EVERYone to the new format, which basically means my channel will go blank. :o(

Right now it's switched back to the old format, which is why you can still see the vids.

Ah okay, that's kinda what I was wondering.

If it's any consolation, they've delayed the implementation date so they can work out some of the bugs. So this might help save your videos.

I'm serious when I say it would be a shame if the videos came down. But I fully support the user name switch.
