@escapethehero bro, I know people have commented on this already, and I have to put in my 2 cents too :( Please don't be mistaken about longboarding, I LOVE to go 60-75mph on my longboard. In my books, this is not coasting haha. Longboarding USED to be all about "coasting" for the most part, but that is changing and it's changing FAST. In my opinion, longboards aren't just for coasting, but for BOMBING as well ^^

@jake33335 i got some stimulus orangatang 86a duro i was bombing a hill and my friend called out that there was a 90 degree 6 foot wide turn at the end of the road, me not knowing how to effectively slide yet i turned into a drive way going 30 miles an hour, i turned to much and my wheels slid and threw me of the board, my neck hit the ground with a sling efect giving me large amounts of internal bleeding, hemrging, memory loss, and of courasr a really bad concussion

I just got a longboard, a Sector 9 Ghost Tree (42" x 9.25") and its so much more fun than riding a skateboard for sure! Your vid makes me want to go out and just ride out!! I know of a garage 30 minutes away (by interstate highway) at Tampa Airport that has like 9 stories, just like the one you guys went down and it makes me want to make the trip and try that shit out for sure!

speed wobbles all in the head, go faster more often n youll get the hang of it, and loose trucks are good to prevent it, just like a bike the faster you go with loose trucks the more it will balance itself

ehh not exactly like a bike... a rotating wheel has centripetal acceleration and acts like a gyroscope, which is why it resists motion in any other direction. when you get speed wobbles, it's wobbling on the kingpin of the truck... the kingpin is 100% stationary, no rotation or gyroscopic motion AT ALL.

i agree that speed wobbles are mostly in the head & practice makes perfect, but loose trucks do NOT prevent speed wobbles.

if your chair wobbles screw in the legs tighter, it'll wobble less
