The guy who wrote the description is from Sweden, and in Swedish it's spelled "barock". We also use word-compounding a lot, which is the reason he wrote "barockmusic" and not "barock music".
@truefregn Well, we still got the point, and that's what matters. Still, I didn't notice it until recently!
I wondered about the languages combos - Germanic languages do that a lot. But, me, I only speak some Gaelige and Cymraeg (Irish and Welsh) as well as Italian. I'm way more fluent in Italian, mainly because I took it in high school for two years, and I caught-on very fast. I have no books on either Gaelige nor Cymraeg, so I learn from websites.
@zzausel no, it maybe looks like that from far away:) there are four playable strings, the rest of the strings aren't accessible with the bow since they are about a half centimetre under the melodystrings :)
You know, I started playing violin since I was 5 - no lie. I never really liked it much though, though I could never get the sound I wanted to hear from it. I wish I started playing the Nychelharpa at age 5; it has THE perfect sound I was always after. :)
@celticbattleaxe Yeah, at 1:35 to 1:50 looks like he starts to play another music. A cool music, a joyful music, but not a Bach Prelude. Yeah, feels "stilysh", i kind like it too, but i still prefer the conventional bach way. xD But he really knows play the prelude on this instrument. =)
@poveron7 Oh - that is actually part of Bach's piece. He is just playing it at about an octave higher than the original key - the nyckelharpa cannot reach that low.
The problem with the conventional Bach way is that is was meant for cello (I personally find the nychelharpa is the better instrument :) ).

Vad jag funderar över är strängar. Dels stämningen och dels var jag kan köpa sådana för vettiga pengar? Skulle uppskatta en puff i rätt riktning. :) Bra video för övrigt!

@zakkwyldeverehrer im not entirely sure but i think you can do vibrato through the amount of pressure you put on the key. that is, after pressing it down, you alternate between pressing hard and pressing soft
