i own a this game for super nes, it came with super mario bros 1,2,3 and lost levels,plus wuper mario world 1 and 2(yoshi's island)..i remember that i bought it just a week before the n64 release

@MamaLuigiBarrelRoll yes it does! the cartridge was golden and the title says super mario all stars +super mario world 1 and 2, it cost me 60 dollars at that time the biggest difference with the normal all stars was the inclusion of smw2(yoshi's island) and the menu was vertical not horizontal, not to long ago i saw that was on sale on amazon for 200 dollars cause they say this version was limited release and rare to find a copy on this days

Nintendo should of released this one. I got the WII version, and quite frankly I was F'n pissed because nintendo did not put "world" included. Those assholes were probably concerned because of the shoulder buttons on on the WII mote!!. They did not even mention super mario land 1, 2, and 3 for the game boy. I was a nintendo fan since 1985!!! What a ripp off!!!

@slaughterbrother2 Well you could use the classic controller for it. I don't really think that's the reason. I think they just wanted to be retro and get back to mario's roots. All of the games in the collection were originally released in the 80's. I never understood why they ever put world on there to begin with. Almost everybody had it at the time as it was the pack in game for the first 3 years of the snes life span.

Hands down, SMAS+W is the best compilation pack in existence. Even in 2010, it has the best versions of SMB, LL, SMB2, SMB3, and SMW.

If only Nintendo would release a collection that had SMAS+W and SM64DS, then the collection would be even better.

your wrong. it wasent a copy japan changed doki doki panic into a mario game. the real mario bros 2 is mario bros the lost levels. but japn dident release it in the usa becouse the japan thought it would be way to hard for the usa. so they gave us a difrent mario bros 2. in mario all stars they give you the chance to play the real mario bros 2. it's qite simple look at the game select screen. mario bros the lost levels comes before our mario bros 2.
