hum, the star trek intro tells about the human progress with space technology. a more appropiate stargate intro would be the same with like this developement:

- first the stargate

- rebuild x-301, little battle with jaffars and goa'uld

- x-303 selfbuild with x-302s flying around at antarctica

- winning against anubis, first contact with ancients

- daedalus battleship

- flying through atlantis

- mad new machines like the project arcuturs in the pegasus galaxy

- and finally the desteny...

Just a little suggestion, maybe if you emphasize on the exploration clips instead of the battle one, it might work

Sorry, but with those lyrics, it doesn't work with Stargate. This was pure Enterprise, and that's it. I like the one with the BSG theme done for Universe. Search "Battlestar Destiny"
