Sebastien Loeb collides with spectator 2011 WRC Wales Rally GB

i like this guy and i hate him at the same time. he is a champion for sure, but there is a slight feel of an old fart about him. there is nothing wrong with professionalism, but when i look at the list of wrc champs i see rebels. you can never imagin Leob going flatout in a stage he is already winning, or finishing with pits of the car hanging off, even his crashs are boring. i don't know, he is probably too "French" for my taste!

I pray for the day sebastian loeb crashes into me. I think the skoda driver was all like "HOLY SHIT ITS LOEB" and swerved purposley. Thats what i would've done!

I thought it was a spectator not a vehicle. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was a spectator, they were so close to the track on Hafren it was ridiculous. I'm sure I filmed one guy who was waving and didn't move his hand in time...

i bet he was racing to the next stage. As I was there and other rally cars where racing to the next stage. Not shocked at this.

Are they skidmarks across road .. also airbag deployed on skoda. On past rallys I have witnessed quite high speeds by competitors on road sections ..I remember once cresting a hill on a long stretch of road trying to get to the next stage when suddenly Russell Brooks in his grp B manta was stationary in traffic at the bottom of hill Big lock up screaching tyres.... He must have thought Oh Shit !!!! it happens

It was the spectators fault as he was foreign and panicked when he was Loeb so he swerved to the wrong side of the road and crashed into Loeb. Just to let you Loeb haters know!

Loeb seems slightly confused as to where he was, he is in Wales not England. and the title kind of suggests he hit a spectator not a spectators car.

I'm confused at what happened here. Is Loeb on a run? Why else would he be driving the rally car right? So why is there a road car on the track?! I wouldn't think the back way from the start of the run to the end was an open public road.. I would have thought that they close that too.
