This is not global warming it is farmers able now with bigger equipment to be able to leavle and drain sections of land at a time. So it hits the river faster instead of sitting in the fields. It is also the county building bigger ditch so the water hits the river faster. Until someone fixes that the cities will keep getting hit with higher floods waters every year.

Global warming has changed weather patterns. The poor in other countries are usually the most affected - 150,000 affected per year. Now that the EPA admits carbon emissions are harmful and hopefully, that warming causes erratic weather patterns, perhaps immediate efforts will taken to curb emissions.
