its an awesome netbook, i got a usb optical drive and i use it to play games.

ive played crysis, WoW, age of empires 3 and they all run perfectly.

Acer's laptops seem to be pretty decent, but something like this I'm sure is going to be overpriced based on the Ferrari badges. it's a netbook and it will pretty much never be able to compete with a 'real' laptop (not comparing desktop to laptop here. wouldn't work) though the amd vision is a nice feature for it but for what I'm sure the price is you could get an i5 laptop with a good graphics card or alienware mx-11 etc.

Acer got poor cooling system. Trust me, if you are a hardcore gamer, after 2-3years of gaming, you will have problems! The best I reckon are Lenovo, Apple, Toshiba and Asus. Asus are cheap too! Sony are descend. I don't know about HP and Compaq.

i have this netbook and your not supposed to click the mouse button it in the middle because the left is left click and right is right click and the track pad is awesome the multi touch works on all web pages and desktop to zoom in and out and to click and on the right edge of the pad by moving your finger up and down you can scroll through pages on the web or whatever .This netbook is very awesome but not cheap and if you get this you should use it with out the battery because it looks cool.

How is that a shame? Who wants the liability of a CD drive, so your netbook can be mroe heavy and thicker? Optical drives are holding us back. We have flash drives, the internet, hard drives, etc. Most high end users dont use cds/dvds anyway, they're mostly for noobs that dont know how to transfer data without them.

i searched it on the internet and it just came out... so dont think ull find it that quickly... its arround 200$... id say ud use it more for watching movies on a nice hd tv than for games since it has a hdmi output... anyway i wouldnt buy it to use it for playing games with sick graphics... its a netbook afterall ... i bought it cause my gamimg laptop is just to heavy to carry after me all the time... sick choice tho if ur looking for a nice fast netbook

This is a lovely laptop, purchased it just the day before yesterday. However you guys should know a few things:

1. Battery life at best is 3 and a half hours.

2. Laptop takes forever to charge when on, really forever. Charging is fast only when the laptop is turned off, even that, I don;t know how much!!

3. The back panel, in Ferrari red attracts more fingerprints that a glossy black does, watch out and wipe regularly!

i finally got the hibernation to work. What I did was to wipe out the installation by using the ACER restore to factory defaults. Installed the latest updates. The laptop is now working fine. The bummer is it can only run 3hrs Max. If wifi turned on, lcd turned brighter and watching HD movies it can only go 2.5 hrs. Performance is excellent but at the cost of battery life. I wish there was a 9 nine cell option for this.

I got one of these about a week ago. I had the Acer one 751 before and this is much faster. The display is the best on any netbook and with dual core,3 gb ram, 250gb HD and windows 7 it rocks

Got this laptop. I noticed it has hibernation problem. It goes to sleep for no reason. Very annoying. I tried tweaking ALL the power settings but still it will go to sleep for no reason. Hibernation on this laptop is erratic. I emailed Acer about this and still waiting for a reply. Bummer!

Picking one up tonight. I did see on a review that some consider it better than the MacBook Air. I've just quickly scanned the specs, and on paper, I think they may be right, which is excellent since this is 1/3rd of the cost. The only spec lower than that of the Air is the CPU, but I reckon the ability to put up to 4GB rather than just 2 more than outweighs that.

I just gone one today for P39k. Bought it from Accent Micro Philippines. Pre-installed windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. 3gig RAM and 500Gighard Drive. I love it. Very responsive. My only gripe is, it does not have an HDMI. It may be expensive but if you add up the hardware ex. 2 cores, 3gig, 500gb HD, LED LCD, Win7 64bit. I think the price is reasonble.

Have your turned on Automatic WIndows Update? Is it still fast afer resuming from sleep/hibernate mode? Mine had sluggish performance after resume, improves only after a cold reboot. Had to restore factory defaults and turn off automatic Windows Update

nice netbook but there are few things i dont like about it , first off is the logo with the CF outline does not look good, it would have looked much better just with the ferrari logo , 2nd the mouse pad shape is not good , why to cut the corners , then is the left and right click bottons in crome , now that looks tacky eww !!!! and then there is no hdmi output come on.!!!

Hmmm. It uses AMD Athlon 64 X2 L310. (dual-core K8 based solution running at 1.2Ghz)...Was hoping for the newer Turion II or Athlon II series which are K10.5 based.
